Installing .tbf files using texmod help!

Can anyone make a step by step list of what to do in order to install .tbf files? I have the special .exe file, I have texmod and everything works fine when i was extracting textures out, i can see the words on the top left corner and i was able to select different textures using +/- signs, but i cannot install the modified .tbf files back into the game. Is there a certain .exe file that i need cause i downloaded some and they were 43mb but still i couldn't install the .tbf files i wanted. I also read nbavg.org several times and followed all the directions there, but still i can't make it to work.

You have to press Enter when you see the texture you like. Then its extracted somewhere on your computer (the path you defined before). Edit it and then build a package.

Ya i know that, but i'm having trouble installing somebody's court patch into my game

Sometimes not all packages (its tpf) work. Just ask the creator for the textures and log by yourself

k someone tell me what the size of their "special" .exe file is? cause i downloaded one and followed the instructions and the patch doesn't work in the game.

The extraction of textures work using texmod, but i just can't install the patches into the game.

If you can extract, it should be the right exe. Send you a PM. Try to do your own patches and insert them to the game.

it's the patch where it replaces the default buttons with the PS2 buttons, and followed the steps using texmod, and what do u know, it works perfect! I can see the ps2 button icons instead of the default buttons. So my question is that why i cannot install ur patch while i can install the other patch? Is it because i'm playing my graphic settings at "low"?

After several hrs of experimenting, i found why i couldn't see the changes when i used texmod to install the different patches. The patches that ppl created can only be seen if only your TEXTURE QUALITY is above LOW. So if your texture quality is set at LOW in the graphics settings, you will not see the patches in the game.
