So as I was walking home...

I was at a friends house last night playing Call of Duty and watching the election, so as I was walking home I saw something pretty amazing and dangerous. Thank god no one was injured. A car on fire down the block from my house, the owner was pretty pissed and all. Pretty cool sight. I think someone went insane when Obama won and lit the car on fire.

I've never understood that, no matter what's being celebrated. Making a lot of noise, dancing around like an idiot? Sure. Drinking yourself silly? Absolutely. But arson? I just don't get the "I'm so happy I've got to cause some major damage" vibe.

Exactly. I suppose people who do that are just whipped up into a frenzy but I just don't understand being so happy you want to destroy property. Being so angry you want to destroy something is more understandable.
