Allen Iverson

Tonight's game. Fans who enjoy low-scoring games with plenty of missed shots should be in for a treat tonight.

http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/sports ... 295526.htm

If Glenn Robinson is out for the 76ers again, plus Iverson and the fact that Toronto has scored 56, 60 and 64 recently, this should be a real brick layer's festival. Not to mention Philadelphia scoring 66 with Iverson in their last game. The Sixers could be missing Derrick Coleman too.

G-Snow 9.5ppg
G-McKie 9.8ppg
F-Thomas 11.9ppg
F-Jackson 9.1ppg
C-Dalembert 5.5ppg

Reserves
Korver 1.1ppg
Salmons 4.9ppg
Green 2.9ppg
McCaskill 1.1ppg

that's 55.8ppg

Now with Iverson out, someone will have to take his shots, which are many, but also remember these players score these points with Iverson setting them up off of double-teams and his good passing, with no Iverson to get the defense's attention, these players will have to create their own shots and offense. Wow this could be scary.

damn, i was really surprised when i saw the score, gret job by the sixers, i mean winning without AI, Big Dog and DC is pretty good, their starting line up looked like this:

G: Snow
G: McKie
F: Thomas
F: Jackson
C: Dalambert

which is pretty weak imo...im glad Snow did a great job oh and coming back 2 paul_pierce_the_truths post, the sixers scored at least 81, hehe

Toronto is sick to lose to the Sixers without Iverson, Big Dog and Coleman!!

What the hell is up with the Raptors?

Next coach to be fired:

Kevin O'Neill of Toronto
or

Stan Van Gundy of Miami
or

Terry Stotts of Atlanta

Toronto should make a deal involving Vince Carter $11,326,219, Antonio Davis $12,000,000, Alvin Williams $5,500,000 and Morris Peterson $1,646,079.

Trade all four for Rasheed Wallace $16,990,000 , Dale Davis $9,061,875 and Bonzi Wells $6,834,444 and all free agents at the end of the season for a total of $32,886,632.

This would leave Toronto with about $20,000,000 in cap space with Chris Bosh, Jerome Williams, Lamond Murray, Chris Jefferies, Milt Palicio, Jerome Moiso and Michael Bradley and some other scrubs.

They could of course re-sign Wallace and Wells and still have some space.

I don't know what Wallace thinks he's going to get, but if he wants max money, they could offer this to home countrymen Steve Nash.

Wells is available as a team option at $8,000,000 and is a pretty good player, maybe get in the lottery and land another big man like Emeka Okafor of UConn.

It seem crazy to do all this, but being stuck with Antonio Davis again next year, plus Morris Peterson is already talked about bolting as season's end.

Why would Portland do this?

G-Stoudamire
G-Carter
F-Peterson
F-A. Davis
C-Randolph

It looks good for contending for a series playoff spot.
Clears up some junk with the Wallace, Wells and Dale Davis is old.

In the end, giving up on Carter would be a huge risk with many fans recoiling with hate and no money if the Raptors do not land Nash to ease the pain.
