some impressions:

a lot has been mentioned already, yes the graphics are great, the presentation also looks good, it is no doubt much better than live 08, but still after playing 5 short demo games, i got back to the demo of nba 2k8, the gameplay of nba live is just not that attractive and gameplay is the most important thing of every game not the looks. Even last year's 2k beats this year's live, all dnas and live365s have not much of a value

anybody from US or Canada get his hands on the demo its still not up there and there's 2 new demo on the playstation store

It's not out..... All I see is nba 09 the inside demo for psp and mercenaries 2 for ps3....SAD SAD SAD day for US psn.

Just set up an EU account (e.g., United Kingdom as country of residence), and you will be able to download it. Voila.

that sux. i read on yahoo answers that it would come out sometime the middle of november because thats when the demo for the nba live 2008 came out. that's funny you have the actual gaming coming out on October 7 and the demo coming out on November. Isn't it the other way around the demo first before the actual product release. by the time the game is out who needs the demo. its bs if you ask me.

very funny actually i bought ps3 only in june and decided not to buy 2k8 when there's not much time to wait to 2k9, espescially when games like GTA IV were just out

ive played and the game is nice but the blocks god danm!!!! the player jumps like 3 seconds after ive pressed the button they need to fix this..the new jump ball and free throw system ...

how do you that can you be more specific? i've already tried doing it on the ps network and for some reason it only offers the usa and canada as your countries of selection.

ps3owner, you just need to creat an new user profile then set up an eu account in the network just like the first time you did your first account

They got rid of Gasol's signature shooting form, WTF... altho they did give new more realistic forms to Fish, Vlad, Sasha, and Odom.

Overall tho, a huge improvement over last year in terms of gameplay and subtle ones in graphics. The animations are a lot smoother and plentiful, more realistic drives and finishes, and a lot better on the defensive side (lockdown ain't bad). Graphics-wise, the players have better looking body sizes, not as stickly-looking as last year. Also, appreciate the new player specific animations and forms for FTs. Nice. Haven't quite fully mastered quickstrike yet or maybe I have and it's just that defense is a lot better now. Pick and roll could be something that many will use frequently tho as it is sometimes difficult to intercept the pass if the defensive big man doesn't stick to the handler and has to rush back. Lastly, I love the shooting mechanics. Skill is once again involved, and pull-up jumpers going left and right look and feel a lot more natural.

P.S. Rondo does not make threes, even if he is the only one on the court. I hope they adjust his threes, otherwise I will have to...

on the ps3 control s what's the alley oop button

On the 360 it's the right bumper + right analog up, so try R1 and the right analog up.
