Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:14 pm
Neither are in the game, I'm sorry to say.
Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:20 pm

Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:22 pm

When it's announced and I get the word that I'm cleared to do so.
Apparently you can watch the proceedings
here.
Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:27 pm
Do you know what time they will announce it exactly? (GMT+10)
Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:30 pm
The press conference begins at 3 PM Pacific/6 PM Eastern, which would be 8 AM AEST (GMT+10).
Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:34 pm
Ah ok then thanks. Sucks for me I'll be at school, will have to check when I get home

maybe its something weird like being able to put your own face in the game or something.
I'm sticking to the WNBA thing, though. I have seen it in another older game where they had womens teams. NCAA i think so it wont be so groundbreaking but EA tends to hype things up a lot so....
Mon Jul 14, 2008 9:30 pm
There are no WNBA players in the 360/PS3 version of the game. The ground-breaking feature has nothing to do with the WNBA at all.

Putting your face in the game has already been done in one of the earlier lives. So... Definitely not that.
WNBA... I doubt so too. It's nothing that great.

I know so.

I didn't see any WNBA teams or players in the game, nothing was mentioned about them being in the 360/PS3 version and the ground-breaking feature was specifically identified as being the ground-breaking feature when it was shown to us. It definitely has nothing to do with WNBA players.

Andrew im from Australia what time for us is the E3 announcment
Tue Jul 15, 2008 1:14 am
i have a feeling its the daily roster updates. That seems to be a big deal every year through all the sports games. People are always complaining when a roster comes out only once a month. I think this would be pretty groundbreaking if they can get it to work properly! I have read on other sites that it will be announced around 3pm pacific time. I will keep checking back......i hate getting this excited for NBA Live when its not coming out for months still.....

NBA All-Access is running a contest where you can win a trip for two to Vancouver for a behind the scenes look at the production of NBA Live 09 including a studio tour and an opportunity to watch NBA and WNBA players participate in motion capture sessions and more. More details can be found here.
this was on your main page. Are the motion captures for another game then? Maybe NCAA 09?

Probably for the next version and possibly March Madness. Live usually raps up production around July/August.

EA plans to announce today that the latest version of its "NBA Live" game will include a constantly updated artificial intelligence.
Whenever users log on to the game, the title will connect to the Internet to download data from the latest NBA games, including such details as whether a player like Kobe Bryant is taking more shots from the left or the right side of the floor and his relative success from each spot. The game will use such information to affect how the virtual Kobe Bryant plays in "NBA Live" and how he is guarded.
IS THIS THE GROUND BRAKING FEATURE?
Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:48 am

How does this affect dynasties? What if someone is traded within a dynasty, but not in real life? Or vice-versa? Also I hope the dynasty AI is better, in my dynasty, plenty of starters are being benched for no apparent reason..
