james's New York Knicks dynasty

i've been playing a dynasty with the new york knicks and i traded clarence weatherspoon, keith van horn, and howard eisley for sprewell and trenton hassell. i moved mike sweetney to being the 6th man off the bench and everything payed off. i have gone through the middle of december and the knicks are the best team in the nba despite losing to a handful of teams in the west. i play on all star mode with 8 minute qtrs and i sim some games. i am so glad that sprewell is back with the knicks(even though its only in the game) he gives the knicks a good man to man defender and a proven scorer.

i am going to find time to sim/play a few more games and post it here if i have time.

James, I too am going to start a Knicks dynasty--I'm looking to get younger. We have too many PF's? I was actually thinking about trading Houston--for a slasher and 3 point shooter. I look forward to reading about ur dynasty.Peace and check my NY site out.

well iam making it a third for the knicks Dynasty then...lol after 3 games iam 1-2 and also looking for a trade for Harrington and spoon, so far ive found out that i can get Rodney white for Harrington if i want him

i suggest that you get rid of clarence weatherspoon and othella harrington or lampe but keep mike sweetney. if you are using him, he is a monster in the low post even though he is 6-9/6-8. i would also keep houston since he is one of the franchise's key players but i would get rid of van horn for a sg that can slash and shoot the 3pt shot. in my dynasty, im thinking about getting a young, slashing point guard for my team. i also have kareem rush now and he was the best player i have traded for. hes so quick to get to the basket and his 3pt shot is consistent and he slashes to the rim very well. good luck on your dynasty

oh dont worry lampe going nowhere, iam thinking of getting rid of kurt coz ive simmed a few seasons just to see what type of trades happened and all three times i did it kurt refused to sign with the knicks so iam trying to use him to bring in a pg.

Yeah, Kurt is definetly on the block--i wanna try to get Q Richardson but I'll wait and see.

Sweetney is a hidden jewel in this game, I've played with him and he's solid.

Are you guys starting the dynasty with mcdyess out or in?

Count me in as another Knickerbocker (although I mostly sim in dynasties, I play online most of the time)...
I might either try to get young (aka the unrealistic version) or make a trade with GS for Nick the Quick (aka the realistic version) :wink:

Might be some time before the import version is here, though - at least I expect another few days.

i went to finals and won. i beat sacremento in game 7 of the finals. the whole series was a low scoring series. i held sacremento to poor shooting but i was unable to shoot too well either. i grinded it out and the knicks won the nba finals without allan houston. in place of houston, kareem rush played decently, but he turned the ball over too much. in the off season, i resigned spreewell, kurt thomas, and let go of charlie ward since he refused to sign with the knicks. in the draft, i had the 28th pick and i picked some SF from UNC and a 2nd round pick of Afi Knight, a SF from GTOWN. i got rid of my gtown player othella harrington since he was just not good enough to be a PF and not good enough to be a SF. he was in between both positions and i decided to trade him( it would give sweetney more time) i traded harrington for jarron collins. oh yeah, sprewell was finals MVP but he turned the ball over and shot poorly.

yeah, it does suck. now i have started a new dynasty with the houston rockets since everytime i use the knicks, they have KVH!!!!!!! :evil:

and i hate KVH. so i started a houston dynasty and traded eddie griffin and john amaechi to NY for mike sweetney and slavko vranes
