You can change it through DBF editing maybe. by replacing the player id. did you tried this method??

Open players.dbf of your current roster folder with DB Commander and swap the player ID of Jason Kidd and LeBron.

I think it should be the right way

Ah... you should change the player IDs also in career.dbf

Hi, I love NBA live 03 and I'm glad I found these updates, however I'm wondering why is it that rookies and some players who have switched teams have all black faces. Is there any way to fix this?

I noticed a little problem by swapping player IDs... I swapped Jason Kidd with Agent Zero and now in the commentary Arenas is spoken "Jason Kidd"...

I think that the speech files are incorporated into the player IDs... obviously I have the Italian version of the game but I think that even the English version should be the same...
