Who is a better player D. Mason or J. Rich?

What do you think and who would you rather have on a team?

They both are statistacally close but I personally would rather have Desmond Mason cause I think he is more versatile and can match up against bigger players better.

PS. Both amazing dunkers also.

i take Desmond Mason...Mason doesn't get into trouble...willing to improve espically on his shot...and a steal at the 17th pick by Sonics...so far J-Rich has done nothing at the number five pick except for winning dunking contests...but i see Dunleavy improve if he gets playing time...

Bottom Line:Richardson is a better showtime dunker but Mason is slightly worse than Richardson in dunking but better in other areas..

Personally I liked Masons through the legs better than J-Richardsons. It was a lot more smooth and cleaner.

Like I said earlier, Id choose mason but he doesn't seem like their will be much improvement from him in the future.
J-Rich is not as good currently but he seems more promising in future and will improve .

yesss. finaly someone who thinks the same as me about that :D

i'd also chose Desmond... no special reason though. (don't get any games here in sweden, so i can't realy judge by anything else but their stats, which sucks)
i just like him a whole lot more then J-Rich.

i think they are just about the same level as well...i would pick mason.

i think jason richardson had his opportunity last year to break out but he was a disappointment. he didn't show much improvement in his game last year

mason had the benefit of playing with a great pg in payton last year but he earned some big minutes. i think mason is getting the opportunity that richardson had last year. maybe he's at a slight disadvantage since he and redd play the same position and one of them will be playing out of position.

both seem unpolished on the offensive end. i give the advantage to mason because he is the better defender
