Can you please put all the files inside the viv file. Like all the cyberfaces inside one playerface.viv so we can avoid laggy graphics and slow loadings. please?? that would be much appreciated..

We'll certainly consider doing that as it would greatly simplify things.

How about the body types? can you change it? like in nba2k series.. and some running and dribbling animations because i compared it to 05 and its different to 06, 05 has a better animation.. And can you change the background for low environment settings? maybe you can put some tricks and add some art files for low environment settings please...

That is so hard to do bro cuz there is no such tool that was made to edit the body types..but if you want to change their form just edit it through dbf editing

You might want to read through the Requests thread, Jao has explained the situation with editing the animations in NBA Live 06.

good news i was able to scruff up a copy of 06, see i most def into this live pc project... Putting more detail and hightexture into my arenas...

hi, this project sounds great, im still playing my 06 as well as most of you guys.

i was wondering, and this might be the wrong place, so if it is, please forgive me early, but im using tony's historic mod, and all my courts in the center logo, are really bright, i turned the lighting in-game to 30, but that still did fix it, does any one know why the the courts looks good, but the center logo area is so bright, and is there a way to fix it?

You are going to want to edit the lightmap.fsh file for each of the courts with fshx. create a completely medium (not too dark or too light) grey texture in MS Paint and then import it into each court's lightmap.fsh with fshx.

And I have one question, have there ever been a crashing problem in LIVE 06 because of resolutions????

i made it crash once from 1024'ing the crowd but the limit is far higher than 07/08

Hey guys, i'd like to offer my help to the player rating side of things if you guys will have me.

I often change player ratings to how i percieve and i think they should be play in the game, and i think i'm good at it. I'm also in an NBA Live league (and have been in more than one in the past... this involves season-to-season of human vs cpu and cpu vs cpu games), and this has made me ridiculously familiar with how the game plays (even CPU vs CPU!) i know what ratings need to be at for the CPU player to play the way he should. And I know what ratings are going to need to be for a player to average a certain amount etc.

I understand Andrew will likely be doing the ratings, but i just thought since the roster are going to be made from scratch, therefore increasing the workload significantly for Andrew, then maybe some help could be good. Anyway, whatever you decide, no dramas.

Any suggestions in that regard would certainly be appreciated. I hope to release some beta versions of the rosters during the offseason to garner some feedback on the ratings before the 08/09 season.

bad news guys ... my 08 arena's are not compatible with 06, seems that there is some small differents in them from 06. So i will see what i can do for the live project the arena well not be as detail as my 08. But i will keep on with 08.

Does anyone know where i can find the Court Updates for LIVE 06? Or is someone making them from this forum? Thanks

Also, Is anyone gonna make a patch so the PA announcer or Play-by-Play guy says the name of some players after they score since this game was Made for the 06 season, it only covers players up to that season, thanks

That's an option that's still being explored.

for the court updates, look in the 07 / 08 forums, those work
