Anyhow we got the win and we are looking quite solid, Iverson has been the best player for the Nuggets this season i would have to say, I hope he stays on board after this season with us and we can bring him that ring he always wanted!
On the subject of Kenyon Martin ill have to say he is playing extremely well to say hes had two major knee surgeries, the stats might say otherwise but he looks to have matured as a player, meaning not demanding shots or taking stupid ones for that matter but hes just playing hard and doing the things that need to be done. Well done Kenyon and i hope he can stay healthy for the rest of the season.
Yeah Melo shot 1-8 in the first qtr, that's why his FG % sucked, he played a very good last quater though...
As for AI, he and Denver have said that they are trying to get a 6 year contract happening
If the last few Nuggets games have indicated anything, it’s not only that Allen Iverson isn’t slowing down anytime soon, but the Nuggets will only go as far as he can take them.
If the thirty two-year old gets his wish, he’ll be in Denver powder blue until he’s nearly forty. From the Denver Post:
Nuggets guard Allen Iverson has interest in opting out of his current contract — then re-signing with Denver this summer for six years.
“That would be our wish,” said Iverson’s personal manager, Gary Moore.
Iverson, despite his small frame and ferocious playing style, is seemingly unaffected by age, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that he wants to play until his late 30’s.
The Nuggets would be wise to lock him up.
