Hey chaser7.
Sorry for not checking in lately. I've been very busy. You are just doing your thing with those recaps. They are really great. You amaze me every time i read them.

What is going on with the predictions game? Are you going to do a recap of the scores for each contestant, so we can see how we are doing? That would be a nice little feature. Just a suggestion, though?

Anyways good luck with the next round. I have a feeling of B-Diddy going crazy in the next series :D

Merry christmas to everybody here on this forum

NBA 2007-2008 COACH OF THE YEAR!
Image

San Francisco, CA (AP Press) -- Golden State Warrior's coach, Don Nelson has won the Coach of the Year Award, the NBA announced Sunday. Nelson led his team to a franchise record 71 wins, 1 win shy of the overall league record. Golden State has just completed a sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies and are awaiting their 2nd round opponent. Nelson's unorthodox style of play has played right into the Warriors' advantages. He has allowed guards Baron Davis and Gilbert Arenas to roam free and to open up opportunities for spot-up shooters such as Stephen Jackson and Marco Belinelli.

Nelson arguing a call in a recent Warrior playoff game

Nelson was rehired as the Warriors' head coach in the summer of 2006, and last year he led Golden State to its first playoff berth in 13 years. In 2007-2008, he took the organization to new heights, easily surpassing all preseason expectations. What's ironic is that, Nelson almost decided not to coach the team for the past season, due to a variety of reasons. Ultimately he renegotiated a new contract with GM Chris Mullen, that keeps him as the head coach for at least 2 more years.

"I think Coach completely deserves it. We wouldn't be anywhere without him," said Davis. "He has totally made me the player who I am today, trust me 71 wins was a lot in credit due to Coach."

As Expected! Don Nelson as Coach of the Year! Good job! And I agree with Andy’s suggestion about the predictions game...

No surprises there, but a coach that under utilizes his big men like Nelson does (See Biedrins averaging 3 and 4) shouldn't win COY. :P

Thanks Lamrock and Km for your predictions. For any of the previous participants and (new ones as well!) you can still play, but I'll deduct one point...

Nice win, although as a Utah fan (I'm so pissed that they suck now. I hope they aren't this year's Clippers) its disappointing to see an OT playoff loss, even in a video game. :P

Good luck in Game 2, and congrats on 500 posts. (Y)

Lamrock Yeah, Utah is whack this year. Although, Game 1 was really fun to play. D-Will was amazing. Honestly, I'm surprised neither of you said like "WOW amazing game", I guess my recap didn't show it enough. I'll work on this, because this game was INTENSE. Also I didn't realize that was my 500 post, but thanks for noticing! :)

Andy92 Thanks for checking back in.

Anyone else: Post your predictions, I want to get at least 5 people per round and right now I only have 3 :(

This is basically last year's Jazz/Warriors series in reverse. Good luck against your Conference Final match.

Deron has been huge, but 1 assist? Stupid EA
