nah Johnson played his best years in Seattle next to Kemp... but let me find then a better word for his play...lets say entertaining (I do mean in a specific match-up)

Did you mean Dennis Rodman? (actually this could be another hint)

Sat Aug 11, 2007 8:14 pm

Rodman only won championships with two teams. Detroit and Chicago.

Ahhhh :-) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQI0ZwDu4EI

I would say his years in Seattle was as good as those in Milwaukee though.

And no, I didn't mean Dennis Rodman. They are former team mates (sort of) though.

Phil Jackson.

1. The last rookie to start in the NBA Finals before Daniel Gibson this year.
2. His NBA career was hampered (and eventually ended) by drug-related suspensions.

Sun Aug 12, 2007 3:37 pm

^^ I thought it was RJ, but his career isn't over, so this is quite tough without going on wiki or google.

Micheal Ray Richardson.

fuckers on ESPN drill pointless shit into your head like this. man, it's a shame they extended their contract, because I was hoping they'd go back to NBC. if I had a dollar for every time they mentioned these 2 things during the Finals, I'd be a richer man before you.

we should do an NLSC version and take out the search feature on our wiki. maybe that'll encourage more people to read it.

1. I was drafted by the professional team located in the same city as my college.
2. I reached the Finals twice and won a ring in the twilight of my career.

Wild guess: Gary Payton?

Mon Aug 13, 2007 1:48 am

haha good guess but no. he went to Oregon State and was drafted by Seattle.

Mon Aug 13, 2007 3:51 am

Elden Campbell? drafted by the Lakers, won a title with Detroit in 2004

1. Was named to the all NBA 3rd team in 1996, also in that year he was selected to the Allstar game for the only time in his career (so far)

Len Bias. I wish I could have seen him play. From what I've seen of highlights and such, he looked amazing.

1: Only player in NBA history to win the Rebounding, Blocked Shots, and Scoring Titles and Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and MVP
2: Has an Olympic bronze medal.

i can only imagine what it would have been like to have him added to the celtics big 3, very sad day indeed when he was lost

Mon Aug 13, 2007 7:37 am

David Robinson? TD would be my only other guess but I'm sticking with David Robinson.

1. Won state titles in basketball for Blaine High School in Blaine, Washington.
2. Had the same first name as another player on his college team.

Luke Ridnour or Luke Jackson cause they both went to Oregon.

Derrick Coleman?

2. Most improved player in 88-89 season

Mon Aug 13, 2007 10:20 am

SVG18 wrote:Elden Campbell? drafted by the Lakers, won a title with Detroit in 2004

nope. he was born in LA, but went to Clemson and drafted in LA. drafted team city and college city must be the same. plus, he never went to the finals in LA, he was traded to Charlotte for Glen rice with Eddie jones before they went to the Finals in 2000.

oh yeah I remember Magic started at C during his rookie year, so it would have to be someone from the late 80s or early 90s.

maybe James Worthy? "Big Game James"
