Got this from a different forum. If you could choose one player to bring back who was in his prime or at his best of ability, who would you pick for your team?

IMO, I would pick Grant Hill. 21, 9, 7 is impressive.

I'd pick Wilt to see how much he would score nowadays.

I would like to see Glenn Robinson or Nick Van Exel sign with a team.

but if i could pick anyone it would probably be Anfernee Hardaway.

back in old days, 1on1 skill was more important than now cuz of illegal defence rules, hardly allowing zone d. so i wonder how they'd play in todays circumstances...

Austin Carr for the cavs. Not a very recognized PG because his team wasn't that good, but he was a great player but didnt have enough talent to push him over the top. To have what he was with LeBron now would be pretty great

Well my first choice would be to draw from the future when Kyle Korver will be averaging 26ppg, winner of the 3pt shootout by scoring a record 29 pts, and smasher of Ray Allen's most 3pters in a season record...

But,

This is drawing from the past, in which case I'd pick Bill Russell since he's the kind of player who can really fit onto any team in the NBA right now. You'd have trouble working a superstar scorer like Alex English or Wilt Chamberlin into every team (granted they'd obviously outscore almost every player now and be the no. 1 option), but a guy like Russell, who can play PF or C, would be a great assett. Tim Duncan x10 on defense with point guard passing ability and a basketball IQ that's never been replicated, except for maybe Magic Johnson or John Stockton.

You are crazy zanshadow. Don't you know that Kyle Korver is Larry Bird in disguise? He has just been trying to fake the league out. He will win MVP and Most Improved player this year.

Grandmaama!!!!! Back on the Hornets when he was dropping 20 and 10. He would be a monster now on any team.

Charles Barkley in Phoenix would be great. Jimmy Jackson in Dallas would b good, would love to see him in his prime getting 25/6/4/ 2 steals

Other guys I'd like to see would be Magic Johnson, Hakeem, and of course, Penny.

Probably Pat Ewing, Sir Charles or The Mailman Malone.
So sad either of these three legends I listed has won a single ring.
