Celtics fan because of Bird.

Bandwagoned the Bulls after that hot shooting performance from MJ against Portland in the '92 Finals. Bird retired so I became a Bulls fan. (I still followed the Celts through the years. I stopped following them with their Duncan stunt :x )

Barkley was traded to Phoenix by Philly. I wondered why the bonehead trade so I followed the 76ers out of curiosity and interest, Clarence Weatherspoon was a part of that interest. I still have a trading card of him. :|

Jordan retired, got to find a new winning team/player to root. I still followed Philly but they were shite. Enjoyed watching a cocky skinny sniper named Reggie Miller, joined the Pacers express. Sixers get Shawn Bradley, wtf?

Shortest 1st pick in the history of the draft, cocky mofo. I like his style. (Y)
MJ came back to lead the Bulls to 72. I then followed 3 teams, Bulls, Pacers, and Sixers. It's better to root for a (winning) team that has to overcome barriers that's why I'm more of a Pacers follower then. MJ to me then was like god so why bother rooting for god when you know he's going to get the job done.
Pacers vs. the Bulls in the Playoffs, I badly wanted it to go to a game 7 so both teams could play their hearts off and deservingly advance. Pacers lost that series, how could you win against a basketball god?

Philly/AI against Reggie/Pacers, if Philly can overcome Indy then they deserve it.
Fuck it all, Pacers lost the Finals.
Sixers finally win against Pacers in the playoffs. Fuck it again, Sixers lost in the Finals. Both of the teams that I root for lost to the same team, fucking shite.

MJ re-returns, meh. I don't want to see my basketball god to be vulnerable.
I got bored of the league but still followed Reggie's Pacers and Philly. I would gladly wet my pants if Ben Wallace went to Philly, he snugly fits Larry Brown's style with the Sixers. Big Ben with the Sixers will remain a wet dream thoough.....

Larry moves to another team and my interest with the NBA goes up again as the Pistons win the NBA championship with their style of play.
A certain guard from Miami plays his heart out in the playoffs, I start to follow his upcoming career.

Reggie retires. Goodbye.
Iverson's talent is being wasted by Billy King.
Too many people dickride Wade so I suspend myself being his fan for a while.
Forward to the present...

Shite, AI gets traded, at least Sixers has Andre Miller, Iggy, and Carney to look forward to.
I ride the Bulls wagon again with Hinrich and Gordon.
Heat got swept, Wade bandwagoners get off, time to resume being a fan.
Pacers are going for a major renovation, they get my interest again.

Presently, I root for in this order:

Sixers > Bulls > Heat > Pacers

Since Steve Francis left the rockets im a pretty big fan of T-Mac. Mostly cause he playes at the rockets but also cause my playing style is pretty much alike of his. Only his is lake 1000 times better :P

Okay it was like in 2000 I read an Article about Kobe and Shaq from that moment I loved the Lakers and loved Shaq but hated Kobe., because the Article really said Kobe is the Asshole who never passes and Shaq is just the head of the team. Well, from that moment on I checked the Results in the newspaper everyday basically I was just happy if the Lakers won. I bought myself NBA 2001 and got to know other teams a little but I always played with the Lakers so that was the team I really knew Shaq, Kobe, Horry, Fox, Grant and all the other guys. So I started to like Kobe (I liked Shaq still better though).
I bought one or two issues of a B-Ball Magazine and read about A.I. and Jason Kidd and the Nets and some other guys. Anyway I really got back into it when I got Nba Live 2005 I loved the Dunk Contest and J-Rich had the highest Dunk Rating. I checked his vids on NBA.com and got a fan of him and the Warriors.
I've only gotten really into the NBA in the 05 Summer I bought another Mag and read about J-Rich, Kobe and all the Rookies. I started checkin the game recap vids and the top 10 everyday.

I downloaded some full Games like the 81-Kobe Game. I always loved the Lakers and the Warriors the most but I really started getting into almost everyother team this Season and I also watched some games Live. Now I love the Bulls (mostly cuz of Thabo(I'm Swiss) but also the entire team), the Lakers and the Warriors, I like the Wolves (cause of KG) I like the Spurs (cuz Tony Parker's Godfather runs a shop in my town and TD kinda grew on me) I like the Pistons cuz of their playingstyle, I like the Nuggets cuz of Melo AI I like the Sixers cuz their young and so on and so on.. Only teams I can't stand: Suns, Mavs... that's bout it.

Die-hard Knicks fan since the early 70s glory years. Clyde, Willis, "Dollar" Bill, Dave the Rave - those cats put the "T" in TEAM! I also rooted for the Nets during their ABA days. I only lived five minutes from the Nassau Coliseum, so I had the privilege of seeing The Doctor in his prime, along with "Super" John Williamson, Larry "Special K" Kenon, George "Iceman" Gervin, David "Skywalker" Thompson, Dan Issel, Bobby Jones, etc., etc.

1990 - 1993: Chicago Bulls. Like nearly everyone at the time, I was a Jordan fan. However, truth be told, John Paxson was my favorite player.

1993 - 1995: None. Just enjoyed the game in general, though I would cheer for the Spurs the most due to David Robinson.

1995 - Current: Timberwolves. Immediately following the draft of Kevin Garnett.
