Even if the Timberwolves would agree to it - and say what you will about Kevin McHale but I doubt he'd be keen to part with KG for so little if at all - it wouldn't work under the salary cap. PJ Brown is a free agent anyway, so he won't have a big contract they can move.

Garnett will be a Timberwolf next season. He won't force the hand and the organization believes it can still bring in enough talent to compete realistically. Until all hope is lost, Garnett will be a Wolf.
