1st team is all Western Conference.
Interesting that LeBron & KG dropped to 2nd & 3rd team respectively.

just because there were to many good forwards... Steve Nash was the top vote getter only 2 votes above Kobe though....
Oh and KG was in no All NBA team last season so it's kind of a step forward for him...

but thall West thing kinda surprised me but only at first sight I mean really the only one could've had a chance was LeBron and Dirk and Duncan both had better seasons than him... (well maybe Duncan could be argued but still...)

:( It still hurts realizing Shaq got old. First time since his rookie campaign. Damns. He didn't deserve it though.

Congrats to all the guys.

Yeah... not much to complain about here, especially with the first teams.

No arguments here, either.

I think it ranks up there. Before the season a lot of people were writing him off as being finished or at least nowhere near being an All-Star. I guess we'll never know how the far the surgery set him back or how his career might have turned out but it seems unlikely it'll be disastrous as so many predicted.

All NBA 1st Team
Amare Stoudamire
Tim Duncan
Dirk Nowitzki
Kobe Bryant
Steve Nash

All NBA 2nd Team
Yao Ming
Chris Bosh
Lebron James
Tracy Mcgrady
Gilbert Arenas

All NBA 3rd Team
Dwight Howard
Kevin Garnett
Carmelo Anthony
Dwayne Wade
Chancey Billups

I would haf preferred Dirk Duncan Lebron Kobe Nash on first team..
Hence
Duncan
Dirk
Lebron
Kobe
Nash

Amare isn't as great of a defender to be 1st teamer yet.. He is good, but how good is he? he has Nash feeding him a lot...

I definitely put Lebron up there over him.
Its hard to see no JKidd, Iverson, but everything else is pretty nice..

but you need 2 forwards and a center and in your team you'd have 3 forwards so that doesn't quite work and Lebron had the same amount of votes as amare btw

Where is Randolph??

He was one of the few guys who averaged over 20 points and 10 boards for the entire season. I think he should be in 3rd team....

It would be nice to see Kidd at least on the third team. But I suppose he'd have to replace Wade then (which I think would be great), but wouldn't work because of the fact that they'd have two PG's in Kidd and Billups. And I suppose Billups would get the upper hand because of how his team did, but I would not mind placing him over Arenas.

I could also have seen Garnett move up to the second team instead of Bosh, but I'm not really bothered about that one.

And even though some great forwards missed out (Boozer, Brand, Randolph), I think the ones picked over them was more or less the right choice. Good list (y)

- 1CenT: You don't think Amare is a good enough defender, yet you have no problem putting LeBron over him because of it? Not only is Amare a decent defender, but LeBron is a really bad one at that.. (Why do so many people not see this?) Besides, you're replacing the C with a SG/SF?

Amare has come on really well. Considering what he was like at the start of the season, he is playing quite incredible.

Sorry i don't know what i was saying... Amare is a decent defender, good rebounder and alright shot blocker.. not sure where i am coming from, he is obviously a superior defender to Dirk, Nash and prob better than Lebron..

Maybe i was saying he isn't a huge impact on defence, yes he is basically a 20/10 guy.. I'll put him at C over Yao.. But Lebron basically led his team to the 2nd seed in the East and was statistically superior to Amare..

While Amare had Nash, Marion, Barbosa, he doesn't exactly anchor the defence, suns have Raja and Marion and also their best post defender is Kurt...

Amare is a decent defender, I think he should of been 2nd team though, especially with LBJ getting more votes.

But LBJ is not a terrible defender, he is not great, but he is above average because of his athleticism mainly.

He is a much better defender this year than in years past, but people don't pay enough attention besides cleveland fans :X

This is the first year the fans arent complaining about LBJ's defense, mostly the complaints are on the big contracts given to hughes and Z.
