This may be a little off topic. How do you think Lebron James will do in the upcoming season? You can also write about how you think he will perform in NBA Live 2004. In my opinion, a rookie is a rookie. :D

well, the guy from the interview said that they wouldnt overrate rookies cuz they havent proven anything, so dont expect 25ppg from lebron or stuff, a 15ppg and 5rpg and 5apg would be more then great, irl too, interesting u brought this up cuz they just wrote an article about that on espn :) (or was it cnnsi :P )

Moved from Live 2004 General Issues. It's really more an NBA Talk topic.

I too am expecting 15, 5, and 5 from LeBron, though he might surprise us.

i think Lebron will get more...here's my thoughts 17 ppg, 8 apg since no one on the Cavs team has a good playmaker...and i give him about 6 rbg from this guy...i think sumbody is gonna say Lebron is the best ever...he will get 40 ppg and stuff

All legitimate posts. Thanks for your time.

In my opinion, I think at first he will avg. at the higher end of 10.0. As time progresses, I'm pretty sure it will go up to high ends of twenty. 30? Hmmm... that's a big debate there.

Ah, of course. Do you think he'll play well enough to be selected by the coaches, or will he be popular enough to get voted in as a starter?

Andrew i thought u knew he meant the ASG but that u said it as a joke(the trade part :P ), shame on u  ! Popular enough, and maybe cuz of his passing skills :? ? But there are too many good players in the east(PG and SG, SF i dunno bout that), so IF he is selected, it will be popularity imho

Sadly I wasn't joking, I simply forgot about the ASG being held in LA this year.

I'd say Vince, T-Mac, and Iverson will get voted in as starters for the East. If LeBron gets in this season, I reckon it will be as a reserve.

...no other players on Lebron's team? I've always though Ricky Davis would make an impact this year seeing that he only improves year after year. Dajuan Wagner will be good, prolly start, point gaurd? I thought Darius Miles was a good playmaker.
also watching Bron in the summer L, I saw he had problems scoring consistently and his shot wasn't all that great, he just got to the cup cause of his size, bodying people out his way. When in the real thing though, people gaurding him prolly will be as strong, and faster.
I give him bout 12ppg-14, 3.5rpg, 6 or 7 apg. maybe more, he seemed a good passer, but that was in the summmer L....
how do i make a fancy signature?

Badda bing, I agree with Poollit's stats most. (Y) Then i'd say by second season he will improve greatly.

8.7 rebounds per game? No man, no way... Even if he played SF, he wouldn't get that...

I think that the jump from high schoolers to the pro's will be hard for him and that he needs a couple of years to develope and become a superstar.
stats rookie season: 14 ppg 4.5 apg 4 rpg

Yeah, this looks good to me, too.

30? Hmmm... that's a big debate there.

I don't think there's much debate at all, at least not yet. Given the way James likes to pass the ball, and that he'll begin his career running the point, I think 20 ppg is a much more contentious benchmark.

I'd say Vince, T-Mac, and Iverson will get voted in as starters for the East. If LeBron gets in this season, I reckon it will be as a reserve.

As popular as those three guys are, LeBronmania looks poised to knock at least one of them out of the ASG starting line-up, with one caveat: that LeBron's around 15-5-5 and playing consistently.
