Where the heck is Karl Malone? He is the all time leader in free throw attempts and makes and is still among the league leaders in both those categories.

2. Allen Iverson ( Philadelphia 76ers) .774 570 736
3. Tracy McGrady ( Orlando Magic) .793 576 726
4. Shaquille O'Neal ( Los Angeles Lakers) .622 451 725
5. Kobe Bryant ( Los Angeles Lakers) .843 601 713
6. Tim Duncan ( San Antonio Spurs) .710 450 634
7. Karl Malone ( Utah Jazz) .763 474 621

I'd say Pierce, too. As he can easily get to the line specially in that game where he got 21/21 in the playoffs this year. But I also gotta say Kobe.

if i'd have to choose one i'd choose Bruce Bowen man.. he can shoot threes like hell but can't hit a lick of a free throw...Dallas' hack Bowen technique quite well in the beginning of the Dallas-Spurs series...

seriously i'd have to go to AI...even though Pierce attempted more ft...AI is small and fearless plus he goes to the lane more often then Pierce and he's layup over 7 footers are awsome..so he gets my vote (y)...

 it was Bruise-a-Bowen, and Hack-A-Shaq. lol, ya they the best, He should just do something like Van Exel and don't shoot em at the line back up a bit or something.

Its true that TD and Shaq get to the line a lot. But for the guard and small forwards Paul Pierce is the best. I'll give kobe some credit as well. It seems like whenever he wants to he gets to the line. Almost every game this year it seemed like he took over 12 freethrow attempts.

Based on last season's statistics I voted for Pierce, though I was tempted to vote for Iverson. Not only did he have the second most attempts last year, he deserves credit for being able to get to the basket and draw the foul, quite a feat for a player his size.

Honourable mention must go to Karl Malone. Through the 90s, both the Mailman and MJ were guys who always found a way to get to the line.

i'd have to say stackhouse. his free throw numbers were a bit lower this year playing second fiddle to mj. but this guy pretty much makes a living going to the charity stripe

yes and no.....he is a very good freethrow shooter, and very very close to the other players at that factor....so I had to pick him out....and you always go with Jason Kidd and Tim Duncan, LEbron James ect...
