The last real SLAM Magazine was with Tim Duncan, celebrating the Spurs championship. Most recently though, there's been a KICKS(a yearly specialy dedicated to basketball shoes) edition with Tim Duncan, Tracy McGrady, and Kevin Garnett.

And SLAM is pretty messed up with the way they give their mag dates. The August issue is started on by the writers at the beginning of June, finished and sent out to us about a week into July. They should just call the August July, and September August etc. Most recent is Timmy D on the cover showing emotion  weird.

see thats the prob i have, i got the latest in Australia and it Lebron on the cover and it said its for august, inside the first page on trash talk they show a pic cover of the the previous with kidd or c-webb which i got. i also found a few weeks ago Slam Streetballl edition with SKip on the cover.
and on the new one it talks about pre playoffs and high skoll all-americans??

do they print a separate cover for diffrent country?? i supscribed with one the cards that u get inside the MAg but ive waited almost 3 weeks and still nothing?

With Slam...we get it (in australia) about a month later than others...In April...I was in Singapore and when we stopped in the Airport I got a SLAM Mag..the May edition with Stevie and Yao but when I got back to Australia they were still selling the Gary Payton one and then in May they were selling the AI one...it was only until June when i saww my edition of it!

Jeez...actually it could be selling two months old editions in Australia!

Sorry, I haven't bought Slam for ages. And it should be noted there's quite a few Aussies in the forum. :)

Not really. The mispronounciation of vowels is more evident in the New Zealand accent.

We don't all live on remote farms in the outback, we don't all have a strong "Australian" accent (we don't all talk like Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee), and we don't use Aussie slang as much as you may think. Oh, and Australian wildlife doesn't just wander the streets.

That's how I'd sum up my country.
