Kidd gets consistent minutes and you still don't know what to expect from him, sure every superstar has a bad night, but never as often as Kidd does.

If Bynum is off limits then I really don't know why the Nets would be keen to make this move. As I said before I'm really surprised Rod Thorn is even considering it; after all, this is the executive who drafted Michael Jordan, acquired Kidd and capitalised on the situation with Vince Carter in Toronto a couple of years ago. If he pulls the trigger I can't see it going down as one of his better decisions.

I always thought of him as one of the more consistent players in the league...Also, he can really shoot the ball. If anything he is an underrated shooter IMO.
so since when is LA against what kobe wants?

I agree with you there. Kobe reminds me more of the young, scoring Jordan who would score a ton but get trounced by the Pistons; not the older, more physical & defensive Jordan who won DPOY and the rings.
Odom may be similar to Pippen in stats (points, assists, boards) but the defense is nowhere near the same, and defense is half the game.
I was reading the unresolvable difference in getting JKidd to LA was Andrew Bynum. Which is obvious...LA wouldn't and shouldn't give up Bynum, and without Bynum the Nets have no reason to trade Kidd.
