What I mean is, Im fed up with the treatment Wade has over the refs, I means he gets the "superstar" treatment most of all the players in the NBA, what I really want to happen is to stop this kind of biased officiating.

I hate it when he goes to the hoop, flopping around, trying to get the foul and staying on the floor like he got smashed by Shaq. (N)

Laker announcers: "Arenas is having a D-wade night at the line." :lol: :lol:

Everyone in this world knows D-Whistle gets calls.

IMO it does not make him stupid, instead it makes him wise, people who flop most of the time are wise players considering they go to the basket more than others who do not, Kobe also got BS calls like Wade when he was still Stern's pet although he is still doing this now but not much getting the calls since the refs think he flops too much and assumes he is doing it again... (or maybe because of the rape case)

Dramatic players (who flops most of the time) gets extra points of free throws every once in awhile since not all the time the ref sees the actual contact. But the difference of the floppers and Wade is that the ref gives a no-call foul to the floppers once in awhile, for Wade, they presume almost all the time that Wade got thrown around. Well that is my opinion. :roll:

I think David Stern is really fucking up the league personally. I hate it when all these announcers say he's the best commisioner ever, or the best commisioner in professional sports. Wrong. He's just the most progressive, and progress in David Stern's eyes is not always a good thing. He's change the game a lot, so of it good, but plenty of it bad too, especially recently.

I hate seeing the calls made, for all players. The NBA should not be so hard to officiate, but it is due to all the stupid rules, and restrictions in place. The game is so tailored to the offense, it's sickening. I love offense just as much as the casual NBA fan, but I love defensive battles too. As well, offense is no good when you watch it from the line. My dad refuses to watch the NBA. He thinks it's just a bunch of pussys constantly getting "fouled". I tend to agree with him the way things have changed, even in the past few years. There's nothing fun about watching a guy shoot free throws.

lets not put the blame solely on Stern. He probably got pressure from owners who wanted their superstars protected, after all players are assets.

At the least we need hand checking & more no-calls

I can't stand watching Wade anymore, it's not even so much that he gets so many calls, it's that almost every call is a shooting call, the continuation calls they make are horrible. He'll get reaching in on and throw the ball up and go to the line. I found this kinda funny though, almost every highlight from this season is a shooting foul. Making those crazy fluke shots really isn't that hard when you get fouled as much as Wade does.

I'm fed up with all the Wade-haters. volsey, just how many of the 10 plays are questionable? Let's see:
10 -> no foul called
9 -> he was tripped by Gooden -> blocking foul. Gooden should have been standing still, which he wasn't.
8 -> no foul called.
7 -> no foul called.
6 -> no foul called.
5 -> no foul called.
4 -> a questionable call. From the footage it seems like there was no foul.
3 -> no foul called.
2 -> an OBVIOUS foul by Araujo. He MUST stand still. Just another obvious call.
1 -> a questionable call. If you look closely, you'll see there was a bump by Rawle Marshall. It's just a call that superstars get. It's the same call LeBron, Kobe or someone else would have gotten.

So basically, there are 2 questionable calls out of 10 plays, of which only one looks unfair (play no. 4). I really don't see what's with all the whining about him getting so many calls. He by far attacks the rim A LOT more than any other player in the league, so it's preety obvious he'll get the most fouls received. What many people forget is that there are certain rules which you must not cross if you don't want to get a blocking foul. It's not Wade's fault that we're not in the early 90's when the NBA was much more aggressive on both ends. So, next time before you (Wade haters) speak, make sure you look at the defensive players' position and then decide whether it was a fair call or not.

n3ts3x0r, firstly, use the edit button and don't double-post :roll: And your exhibit B can't count as an exhibit, since the clip was cut and edited. I really doubt they would let Wade shoot the free throw after he wasn't fouled. I'm sure the Mavs fans would have pointed it out to the referee that Wade shouldn't shoot those free throws..So I don't buy that one. As goes for exhibit A, I can't argue with it. There was no contact at all.

you cant deny that wade is good, he is damn good, but the fact that he flops all the time knocks him down a few pegs in my book. i still think the real problem is with the nba. they are trying so hard to make it an all offensive league they are ruining the nba.

sauru is right. wade is a great player, and is going to be the future of the nba along with james, melo and them. but the nba(stern) tries too hard to make them the future of the nba that they want to increase the marketing value of dwyane wade right now.
i personally hate dwyane wade and lebron james because they are both overhyped but i know that atleast lebron james is gifted and is really really really built. i kno dwyane wade is good too but like all of you said this is getting really annoying.

which also brings up another point, ref bias
