My favourites are :

Shaq - 0/11 FT's (Most free throws, none made game.)
Walker / 0-11 3pt. (Most 3 pointers, none made game.)

And that Dallas Mavericks scored only 2 points in the third quarter.. I don't remember the year.

More records :

There isn't Gordon's 9/9 3 pointers. And some new records.. Last.

The stats are interesting, but they haven't been updated in a LONG time. Earl Boykins set the record for most points in an overtime with 15 I think back in the 04-05 season, and that's not on there.

Also, is that a Korver sig?

Because he's fat and thinks he's a star in the league so whenever he gets the chance he shoots. But he sucks at basketball so he misses his shots.

Everytime i look at the NBA record books, I'm amased of how many records is held by Wilt Chamberlain. Everybody knows about his 100-point game and his rebounding dominance, but try to take a look at his assist number. He once led the league in total assists, and is the only player to record a doubble-tripple-doubble (+20 points, +20 rebs, +20 assists)

Wouldn't that be a triple double double?

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?
A small forward.

^No because he had enough points, boards and assists for two triple-doubles. Thus it's a double-triple-double.

Wrong.

It's a double triple double for the same reason Drama said.

I thought the "double" stood for "double figures". In that case, 20-20-20 is just 3 double figures, not double-triple-figures :) I hope y'all understood that

Drex is right, it's a triple-double. The double is for 'double'-figures and 20 still is a double figure.

what do people think is more difficult to achieve -- a double triple double or a quadruple double?

I agree with Drex and cklitsie. Isn't it obvious that it's "just" triple-double? :?

If you mean 20/20/20 with a "double triple double" then that's more difficult. I don't really know how to explain my way of thinking, but a quadruple double would only be 30 "stat-rewarded actions", while a 20/20/20 would be 60.

A double triple double would be two triple doubles. It's only possible to have one triple double in a game from any given player. Thus I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

If that counted that would be a 'sextuple-double' as to 'quadruple-double', 'triple-double'.

You mean hextuple-double... not sextuple, thats when you have sex with triplets. Or is that when you ( not actually you.. cause well thats obvious it aint gonna happen ) have sex with 3 sets of twins...

in anycase 10pts 10 rebound 10 assists and 10blocks or 10 steals would be harder. Since you'd actually need to play defence imo.

Both David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon has recorded quadruple doubles, and If blocked shots had been recorded in Chamberlains playing time, he would have had several quadruple-doubles as well.

Since there has only been one 20/20/20 game (which I think I would refer to as a Double-triple-double) you have to conclude that this is a truely unique accomplishment.

Is there even any other players who had bot +20 rebound and assist games in their careers? I was thinking og Magic Johnson, but can't find his career high in rebounds anywhere...

Another crazy stat: In the 1962-62 season he played 3882 out of a possible 3890 minutes for his team, an average of more than 48 minutes per game. Overall he logged an incredible amount of minutes over his career, yet he never fouled out of a game.

Oh, and here is another word to debate on: Chamberlain is also the only player to record a quadruple double-double (using my previous logics, a 40/40 game)
