Corey Maggette: next star to demand a trade

I don't see Magette meshing well with Kevin Martin. I think at this rate Kevin Martin will be the dominant offensive player on the team for years to come, and Magette doesn't like playing 2nd or 3rd fiddle on the clippers, and he'd be doing that in Sacramento. I don't see Bibby or Kevin Martin deferring to him, and rightly so. I think he'd be better off on a team like Orlando, that could use some more consistent perimeter scoring.

If the Magic need perimeter scoring, why would they get Maggette? Maggette is an alright jumpshooter, but he isn't going to stretch the defence. Plus, Orlando already has a pretty formidable slasher in Ariza and he has been playing very well of late.

Hmmm i dont see Maggette as a huge upgrade for Carter, Vince is probably up there with Elton Brand in terms of value so i doubt a deal could be struck.

I guess they could start Tim Thomas at the 3 if they did that. I still don't want to trade Maggette. If they had to give him up, I wouldn't want to give them Mobley at the same time. I don't see it happening since the Clips have a shortage at guard, and would be even shorter if we gave up 2 for 1. Also the Nets say they don't see that trade as much of an upgrade.

Its easier to start Maggette, and fuck Q Ross. I don't care if he barely ever turns the ball over or has good defense, his defense compared to his offense doesn't compare to Maggette's.
