Yao to Miss Six Weeks With Broken Leg
"Yao (Ming)was diagnosed late Saturday with a non-displaced fracture in his right tibia. He will be out at least six weeks," reports Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

Another big man (kristic) down with a knee injury in two days. I feel bad for Yao, he keeps getting injured right when it looks like he's emerging as one of the top players in the league. Right when T-Mac is about to come back, Yao gets injured. Seems like an unremitting cycle for Houston. Time to blow up the McGrady/Yao plan and start over?

He is still averaging 19 a game and a career high in assists. Let him get past the spasms and see how he does after that.

Battier had his best game this entire season with 28 pts.
It looks like he, Alston, and Head will have to step it up a bit. Maybe now Bonzi Wells can play like he did during last seasons playoffs.

McGrady has had back spasms since he was in Orlando. They're not going to just go away unless he has surgery.

How freakin injury prone is Yao, he seems to be getting injured badly at least once every season, id be annoyed as hell if i were a Rockets fan. Yao and T-mac wont be able to get close to a championship if both keep getting injured.

This is always a question mark for this team. Can tracy and yao stay healthy for the whole season? Its always have been like this. We may never see the potential of this two if they get injured time and time again. I think its time for the rockets organization to trade tmac and see if theres a team interested. The rockets should just hang on with yao.

I'm not surpised he gets injured constantly. Jesus, he's 7'5": it's totally normal to have knee-related problems when you're that tall, even more if your body is in constant motion like Yao's.

lol I saw the game and they showed Yao's family in the audience... I guess he has a lil sister or something because there was some asian girl sitting with the parents.

I guess that was the only way the clips could get a win tonight

Oh fuck Tim Thomas. After he gets his ass blocked he falls and takes out yao.

Hopefully Yao can recover quickly. And when he gets healthy he can continue to play like he did before the injury.

Hopefully he can get back for ASG, though he might not wanna risk it...

goddamnit.

He already IS one of the top players in the league. I feel shit for the Rockets. This was meant to be their year.[/b]

It's because he's so tall and is pretty much steppin on people on the court, His injuries is always something to do with his legs!! sucks, Rockets were supposed to be nyce this year!!

Ah fuck this, fuck this. Now I'll have to admit he is injury prone. A team is hard to succeed with their 2 best players like this.

He is just unfortunate, he doesn't have bad knees, bad elbow or bad back, or anything like that..

As long as he keeps working hard, bone fractures don't reaggreviate itself..

As long as he still works hard on the court and off the court, he isn't that fast, he won't need his "lift and knees" to really do well..

Tmac on the other hand is different.
