How about waking up at 2:30 to watch a game? That's how we do.

Hyvin sanottu kaima.

Language will be a problem? No dude, Europeans speak fluent English. It is American people who don't speak other languages...

There are so many but's in this that it won't happen. The biggest problem is not the game itself, because European game will evenually reach NBA. It's not yet as good, but from here we get to the biggest problem= MONEY.

There are no "I became a billionare in a week" -guys in Europe and the game hasn't so big meaning here that bigger companies etc. would invest the money needed.
We play soccer

Don't talk about flying problems... Did you forget that it takes about the same time to fly from NY to LA than it takes to fly from NY to Paris...
I haven't heard you complaining about flying across your own country.

That was my point. Current NBA players will have to learn a new language, and if they get traded, they are forced to learn another. If they get traded again, they are forced to learn another, unless every commentator, interviewer, staff member, coach, teammate, can talk fluent English.

I don't think language is the problem at all. Nearly all European countries speak English as a second or third language. The real problem with this is that some players wouldn't like the idea of having to move to another country, along with the time zone differences. West coast teams would have to go on really long road trips to avoid flying back and forth across the country, and the European teams would constantly be flying across the Atlantic for all their road games. I dont think there is enough talent to go around either.

I really don't like the idea of the NBA moving that far overseas, but who knows with David Stern... there are already training camps held against Euroleague opponents..

Neither do I... and I live in Europe.
The only good thing about it would be that I would be able to see some real NBA teams play and beat the shit out of the Euro illusionists...
I don't care what others have to say, I think Euro basketball is and will always be one step behind NBA basketball.
Basketball is and remains American. This idea sucks but I always knew something that stupid would happen with D. Stern as the NBA commissioner
Dear Old World, you represent everything that's wrong...
