what happened to the other pacer fans or was indy the only pacer fan here?
anyway- Minny wouldn't trade for JO and Tinsley exactly for the reasons you resent those them
I think my Pacerfanness just made it seem like there were more then one, but I think I was the only one, except for LouisvilleLip and FraN, and neither of them posted too much.
After seeing Tins back in the lineup for the last 4 or 5 games, whatever it has been, its hard for me to stick with what I said before in this thread. Tinsley is a wizard with the ball, and he is continuing to return to form, which is fantastic. I hope he's healthy enough for a long playoff run.
I want to adress Sarunas Jasikevicius for a second. With Jamaal healthy again, and Fred coming back healthy for the Orlando game a few days ago, Rick showed how important Sarunas is to the team with a full lineup: on the bench all game with a DNP-CD next to his name in the box score. Then, fast forward to yesterdays game against Denver, Sarunas comes in for the final 2.2 seconds of the game, only to draw a defender away, he obviously wasn't going to take the possible game winner after sitting on the bench for 47 minutes and 57.8 seconds of game time. So for Sarunas, his role has been diminished greatly from earlier in the season, and even though I have nothing but love for Sarunas, it is completely justified. Sarunas is a great shooter, but his shot has really gone south, especially since the all star break. Earlier in the year it looked like he KNEW every shot he took was going to fall. Now, it seems like he's letting it go and really badly hoping it goes down. Add on to that the bad defense and you just cannot get minutes in this league. In order to keep your minutes during a shooting slump, you have to do other things well, and he has disappointed me in his leadership abilities, and his defense is horrid, so, Sarunas, I'd like you to meet the pine. AJ and Jamaal have this position locked up for now.
