Which Player Would You Pick To Start Your Franchise?

Imagine: You are gonna start a franchise, you have the number one pick, who would it be, APART from Michael Jordan (No Stevan, no picking Jordan!! :P )

I personally (apart from Jordan!!) would pick Shaquille O'Neal.

Other options (which will be picked often, I think) would be Tim Duncan?

If you can doesn't mean it's less stupid.

All time, I'd probably go Chamberlain, Bird/Duncan, Yao/Garnett. I'm not totally decided over the #2 and #3, it'd probably be a top 5 with Garnett being 5 hehe.

hey wow, the thread which got me deleted is back! :D

If I could pick anyone in the history of the game, my signature would apply. But since we are only allowed to pick Wilt Chamberlain then I choose Wilt... who needs championships when you have the Nba's all time greatest pimp machine.

As for players now, I dunno, maybe I'd choose Eddy Curry in the hope that he does become a dominant and nasty big man as predicted. (y)

If i'd start with my favourite one it would be AI, but he's just too hard to build around, if i would want to win now i'd choose shaq and if it's a franchise for years to come i'd pick t-mac,td, kg respectively(so in this order), if it would include legends, well, i'd pick bill russel too i think :)
