hey, OleEnglish, I just downloaded ur latest roster update and it seems that jordan farmer from the lakers has no portrait or cyberface, even though the files are in the sgsm folder. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Also, if u, OleEnglish can post jordan farmers files again so that I can download them again. Thankx.

might be the playerpkg so you might have to change that

Yep, if you change his playerpkg in the players dbf (using db commander) to JOFARME it will work.

until i used this roster, i had no problems with crashing, but since then, crashing happens...
if i lower the graphics level, the game works fine, but im using fine computer to set the details to maximum, so im curious about the things happening right now
remember, b4 i use this roster, it was fine
heres wat i did

uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it again

tested another roster, but the crashing continues

i checked the virus thing, but it was all fine

can someone help me out please...

p.s. no offence to author oleenglish, i appreciate for your hard work

Too many patches?

Anyway, can somebody upload this patch onto their site or send it to my gmail account? My ISP is kinda weird and download sites like rapidshare, sendspace and megaupload don't work. It usually works when I use a proxy though, but now they banned all the proxy sites...

hmm oleenglish i had a crash with pacers, i think i may posted it b4, any way i think i have narrowed it down to spesifc player that cuases the problem its Stephen Jackson can u please i dont know try to redo him if its not much of a trouble or maybe tell me somthing to do to fix it

- Nets don't have a center in the roster screen
- Rbk Young Guns have 2 SF in the roster screen
- I don't know if it's just me, but a lot of rookies have blank portraits

I have the default steven jackson cf in my game so try removing any stjacks files in your sgsm and see if it works.

I'll fix the problems with the Nets and Reebok teams tomorow and as for the portraits not all of them have been created yet.

Just found the problem .... I fact there is NO PROBLEM exept me ... I just install the game in a different folder as I used to before ... As I bought a new laptop recently the NBA LIVE game was installed in c:\Games\NBALive2006 and not c:\Program Files\....

I have a little problem with the update. The following players have no portrait:

first of all, great work!

so i have installed the Draft ( for dynasty only)..followed all steps, tried them and tested and i think they're ok.

now my problem is...before i installed this patch, i just finished one season and playoffs (with Miami Heat)..Im entering the off season and is just wondering if it is possible to bring the 06-07 roster to my saved dynasty..meaning when i start the new season, ben wallace will be in chicago and the rookies will be in the correct teams?

Since you already have an ongoing season and you just want to move some players to their correct team, You can try to use nba live editor to do that..

Well it's only my personal opinion, based on summer league ratings, latest rookie ranking, ncaa slam dunk contest 2006, etc. and I've done them in my game...
James White - highflyer - jump rating 99
David Noel - highflyer - ncaa sd winner
Maurice Ager, Ronnie Brewer, Rudy Gay - highflyer
Sene Saer - inside stopper - summer leagues blocking leader
Patrick O'Bryant - inside stopper
Adam Morison - outside scorrer/shooter
Brandon Roy - outside scorrer
Randy Foye - outside scorrer - summer leagues mvp
Marcus Williams - playmaker

and also, Anthony Parker - highflyer/outside scorrer

One more thing, I've found many pretty good cyberfaces, portraits, etc in Euroleague project, I think you'd better search for them instead of making them again...

Since you already have an ongoing season and you just want to move some players to their correct team, You can try to use nba live editor to do that..

thanks for the info...it was a great find! i dunno why but i've long been under the impression that nba live editor and nba live graphics editor are one and the same thing until i read your post and check it out stupid me..

the only thing i notice though, it tends to delete or duplicate position numbers during transfer of players, dunno why..well i guess the answer could be in a separate thread hehehe..
