i really dont think that this is a nessacary post.....you could have said/asked that in the "Do t-mac deserve the cover of live" topic......and oh yea, of course its his career highlight.....

edit: i just saw that you were the editor of the "Do t-mac deserve the cover of live" topic and you still made this unnessecary post...... :(

It was a definite high point in his career and he hasn't been capable of playing that much lately. I am sure if he's capable of playing this season, he will perform very well.

This belongs in NBA talk anyways but it's a good discussion in my opinion.

Moved to NBA Talk.

no one did what tmac did :)

What kind of question is this? Of course its a career highlight. It's probably his biggest one.

Wed Jul 26, 2006 4:18 am

Agreed. It's obviously the career highlight for a player who has played for stats and done absolutely nothing in the playoffs.

Wed Jul 26, 2006 4:54 pm

I guess it should be considered a career highlight, but that off-the-backboard self alleyoop dunk in the ASG a few years back was just amazing. I don't think that was ever done in a NBA game till then. I guess T-Mac took it from the streets and made it more popular in the NBA.

Sadly, it was a regular season game.
If it was GAME 7 in the NBA Final Versus SPURS...
Jee...
I think T-mac will be the greatest player in the world
oh, beg your pardon...greatest human being in the universe

...Unfortunately for you, T-Mac can never beat the Spurs in the NBA finals in that manner because the Spurs are in the same conference as the Rockets.

Well, he is one of the nominees, along with Tim Duncan, John So (Lord Mayor of Melbourne) and this guy who's been stranded on Neptune for 6 months, doug something.

T-Mac will be known for the 13 in 35 until someone gets 14 in 30

Still it was an amazing end for that game (one of the few non celtic games I watched beginning to end)

That's only because people are too stupid to do their research and find examples of similar feats being achieved in the NBA before. Larry Bird, Reggie Miller... Rodney Rogers scored 9 points in like 9 seconds once to win a game. If Jon Barry had done it no one would care anymore.

Thu Jul 27, 2006 5:30 am

I remember about Reggie Miller, it was something like 11 points in 8 seconds.
