How so? The Nuggets are giving up something they can afford and get a bit of help at shooting guard. The Bulls are giving up a player they don't want or particularly need and will be signing a familiar face who will find more productive time than the one they're giving up. The only team that's really losing anything as a result of the whole affair is the Dallas Mavericks since Griffin's leaving without compensation.

Yeah, some sort of size would be an awesome, awesome thing. Of course, Ben Wallace and Tyrus Thomas do play bigger than their 6'9" frames. But a 7 footer would be nice. Even bring Chris Anstey back. He's been great against the tall blacks. That'll never happen, but the Bulls have usually done ok out of their big Aussie Centres.

Luke Schenscher will not be kept. I almost cried watching him play in the SL. He's completely useless. There are rumours that Pax is trying to sign&trade for Gooden, but I don't see that happening. He's completely defensless, one of the softest players in the League (that is why he has been traded so many times) and is more of a face to the basket playerBulls need a back to the basket guy who would bring some size to the frontcourt. If they wanted a jumpshooter at 4, they would have kept Songaila.

PJ Brown
Ben Wallace
Adrian Griffin

I bet it will be the last two though, unfortunatly for PJ.

Hinrich and Duhon held the job last year, I believe. I think it should be Hinrich and Griffin, considering they'll both be around for a while. Let the team grow under some consistent leadership.

Ben Wallace is almost inevitable, since I believe he is one of the oldest dominant players on the team and their #1 option on defense.

One of the younger guys should also have the job.

shouldn't a big deal for Brown. he'll still be getting that $8 mil or whatever his salary is lol. seriously though- he's being brought in to be veteran presence/leader for these guys, so it doesn't matter if he has a "C" on his uniform or not

my guess is Ben Wallace and Chris Duhon will be captains. Chris Duhon because he's probably the most vocal player on the team (before Big Ben arrived) on and off the court.

Gooden is a knucklehead, especially on defense but Bulls fans should be open to getting him if Gooden can be had for something involving Sweetney+Duhon.

i guess i'd be content if Brown was the next tallest guy on the roster. he's ok but his defensive PER on centers is considerably lower then against PF's. lol where the hell is Jared Reiner

I reckon Hinrick should be made captain.

On Anstey, i heard a couple of months back he said he might want to play in the NBA, but I haven't heard much since, only hearing stuff about CJ Bruton.

why not make kirk hinrich and ben wallace be co-captains

i think the bulls should make pj brown captain.... it doesn't matter how bad he plays... it just kinda shows respect towards the man.... he has played more seasons than wallace, hinrich, and duhon combined i think
