I just heard(on WFAN) that the Knicks don't want to pay Larry his loot. They feel he violated team policy(like telling the truth about this sh!t roster Isiah assembled). Stern will serve as arbitrator. Pathetic.

Bickerstaff was stepping down as head coach for next season. Seattle or Portland might want to go after Brown too, considering their coaches have issues too.

Nate McMillan is one of the only good things Portland has. He doesn't have any issues. Zach Randolph and Darius Miles are just selfish whiny little bitches.

Perhaps now he's returning to the sidelines, it will be a blessing in disguise. Maybe that illusion will be shattered once Dolan sees that not even Isiah can make the roster he created work as a cohesive unit.

I still think Larry Brown is partly responsible for what went down last season. Everyone who had anything to do with what happened on the court last year deserves to shoulder a portion of the blame. That said (and even though I don't agree with some of the decisions he made), Brown has been made a scapegoat and the drawn-out way his firing was a poor choice and badly handled by the Knicks.

But in Dolan's warped brain, if Isiah wins ten more games, he'll think the team's making strides. We'll never be rid of Zeke if that happens.

Man that 99 team solidified my knicks fandom. I saw a game with those guys against the spurs on ESPN classic the other day and it brought a tear to my eye. I wouldn't mind having the knicks 99 and 2000 seasons on DVD.

I still believe if ewing was injured in 99, the knicks would have beaten the spurs.

I agree....that team was honestly one of the best in knicks history. I take them over the one that made it to the finals against the rockets and the ones in the early 80's. If only sprewell and camby and the rest had came in mid 90's.

Brown is proven to turn teams around after a season or two, so I don't understand why they didn't have the patience to keep him for a little while longer, let alone bring in Isiah fucking Thomas....

i wouldn't say "..in the history of sports" but i agree about the expectations of Brown. Other then the Pistons, Brown coached teams showed improvements in the 2nd year of his tenure

as for the best NYK team.. outside from the last one that won the title.. those teams in the 90's that lost to the Bulls year in, year out would have mopped the floor with the '99 team. just my opinion

the reason why he fired Brown and took over is because he doesn't want the Bulls to ended up with Greg Oden

ı think isiahs being the head coach could be good for knicks cause players could play for issiah thomas. as brown was a coach who always argue with his players on the other hand issiah can make a positive effect on players.
