Nice win over the Bucks. I just love your two "big man" in the post.
Diaw seems to be a triple double threat all the time (20 boards = ooowee)
and Howard is leading the way. Very athletic types of player who can kill every defender.

And vs Houston we saw the old Bob Sura, pretty cool he is back, but without T-Mac a win would have been possible.
But you cant win every game.

EASY WIN AGAINST HORNETS WITH STRONG BENCH HELP

December 13, 2007
New Orleans Arena, New Orleans

Image

Orlando Magic celebrated the win against New Orleans Hornets.
It was easy win against one of the worst teams in the league.
4th quarter was only end of perfect job made in first 3 quarters.
Keyon Dooling had great influence to the game from the bench with 16 points.
Dwight Howard as always was high point man for the Magic.
From the Hornets need to mention Josh Howard with 21 points.
But overall the team looked poor and weren't able to fight as equal with Magic.

MAGIC LOST TO WARRIORS, WHEN DANIELS MISSED LAST SECOND SHOT

December 19, 2007
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

Last shot by Marquis Daniels could bring the 2nd consecutive victory for the Magic.
But unfortunately he missed that shot and Warriors celebrated the win.
Baron Davis was doing great for his team. He scored 25 points and had 9 assists.
Mike Dunleavy showed nice game with 28 points and 4 of 6 three pointers made.
This game was very good for Jameer Nelson. He had 31 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
Perhaps the poor game by Nelson is history for now.
In this game Jahi Yates was placed to the starting 5, cutting Jeffries from it.
Marquis Daniels was moved to SF. Yates had 21 points, and perhaps he will remain as a starter.
Next game for the Magic against Boston Celtics on the road.

Nice win over struggling Hornets.
Tough loss vs GSW but maybe the breakout party for Jameer Nelson ;)

Yaeh I really hope that Nelson will start to play better, but I kinda don't like playing with PG, like scoring everytime with him (it was also with Terry and Harris with Dallas), it's better to give the ball to my big men.

STRONG 4TH QUARTER BRINGS MAGIC VICTORY OVER CELTICS

December 23, 2007
TD Banknorth Garden, Boston

Image

Orlando Magic travelled to Boston after the dissappointed match against Warriors.
And it was not going fine for Magic today, but the perfect 4th quarter was the key for the victory.
Good game by bench players was one of the main factors of the win.
Jahi Yates made 19 points and he was high point man for the Magic. Others had even less than 15 points.
From the Celtics need to mention their backcourt. Blain had 25, Pierce 21 and Green 19 points.
This was very important win for the Magic, because next games they will play with very strong opponents.

UNBELIEVABLE SHOW BY KEVIN GARNETT

December 27, 2007
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

This game will be remembered for unbelievable performance by Kevin Garnett.
He had 43 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, also added 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks to his stats.
Magic were simply too weak to stop them. Maybe they underrated Wolves a bit.
Because they met each other at preseason games and Magic celebrated the victory.
Marco Jaric also had good game with 20 points, Liu Ishito added 19.
Dwight Howard was stopped by Garnett in this game, so Boris Diaw had to do main shots.
He had 24 points against weak Blount. Jameer Nelson and Marquis Daniels were also stopped tonight.
The problems for Magic are not over, they will meet San Antonio Spurs in the next game.

MAGIC TOO WEAK FOR THE SPURS

December 28, 2007
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

Orlando Magic suffered one more loss again. Tonight against San Antonio Spurs at home.
But we really shouldn't blame them for losing, they are just weaker than Spurs.
Maybe after some years we would win against them, but now we have to be happy, that we have perspective team.
Tony Parker scored 30 points, shooting very well, 14 from 16 field goals was made.
Need to mention Spurs frontcourt, grabbing a lot of rebounds and stopping very well our big men.
Howard had only 13 points, while Diaw even less - 9 points.
Marquis Daniels was the high point man in this game, scoring 20 points.
Now when December is over, Magic have 5-8 record at the moment, not good hoping to move to playoffs.
If the record keep falling, we will have to search some new players via trade, Magic GM said.

DECEMBER RECAP

SF - Paul Pierce from Boston Celtics was anounced as the East Player of December.

Image

PF - Tim Duncan from San Antonio Spurs was anounced as the West Player of December.

Image

C - Jared Hagan (2nd pick) from New Orleans Hornets was anounced as the West Rookie of December.

Image

PF - P.J.Hansen (38th pick) from New York Knicks was anounced as the East Rookie of December.

Image

Here is Orlando Magic players' stats from 13 games.

Image

Dwight Howard is still leading scorer of the team, also the leading rebounder.
Jameer Nelson's stats increased this month, also Daniels' a bit.
Jared Jeffries was placed to the bench this month, so his stats probably will fall later.
There are some sleepers at the bench, such as Trevor Ariza, who really need more playing time.
Keyon Dooling averaging almost 6 PPG and he is 6th man of Magic.
There will be 5 games at January, and the team really need wins.

Nice recap, it must have been hard to face spurs with about 3 superstars, while
you only have Dwight Howard. They stats are ok, because only Howard is leading
the team...but good job so far sounds realistic.

MAGIC LOST 3rd CONSECUTIVE, NOW AGAINST THE PISTONS

January 04, 2008
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

Tonight Magic lost another game, against Detroit Pistons.
Pistons are not so great, how they were before 2 years, they don't have Ben Wallace.
But Rasheed Wallace took the job, having 20 points, and grabbing 13 rebounds.
It was tough to stop him, as well as Chauncey Billups with 23 points.
Player of the game was anounced Prince, who was not so noticeable, but blocked 5 shots.
Magic frontcourt again did their job perfectly, having 59 points.
Marquis Daniels still was struggling only with 8 points.
Magic GM promised that he will search some trade posibilities, to strengthen their backcourt.

Tayshaun Prince: 17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 blocks.

MAGIC FINALLY CELEBRATED THE VICTORY OVER WIZARDS

January 15, 2008
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

Finally the victory came to Orlando. And they kept real chances to go to playoffs.
Some more losses and team is practically out of playoffs.
Gilbert Arenas was storming in the TD Waterhouse Center, but it wasn't enough for the victory.
Other teammates couldn't do anything, Butler had 13, Haywood 12 points.
Dwight Howard was anounced as the best player in this game with 26 points and 18 rebounds.
Jahi Yates had good game, shooting 3 pointers not so well, but killing Wizards with penetration moves.
Jameer Nelson was stopped in this game, scoring 9 points and dishing only 2 assists.
Trevor Ariza after this game asked more playing time, as well as Keyon Dooling.
Probably we will see some lineup changes in the next game against Los Angeles Lakers.

Good stuff, you snapped your losing streak although you're still three games below .500. Hopefully you'll be able to pick a few more wins and get into the playoffs.

Yates really came on strong against the Wizards and I'm not too suprised with Dwight Howard grabbing an 18 rebound double-double anymore. :)

Too bad Jared Jefferies and Turkey Glue didn't do much against their former teams.

MAGIC WON AGAINST LAKERS AFTER PERFECT END BY DANIELS

January 18, 2008
TD Waterhouse Center, Orlando

Image

Perfect end for Orlando Magic let them celebrate the victory over struggling lakers.
Marquis Daniels scored 10 of last 14 Magic points and was the main factor for the win.
He had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals tonight.
Jahi Yates scored the most - 19, and the player of the game was Dwight Howard with 18 points and 13 rebs.
It is really dissappointing season for the lakers. Now after this loss they have 4-11 record.
Kobe Bryant led this game with 25 points, Maurice Williams added 21 points and 6 assists.
It was very important victory for us, Magic GM said, now we will have to win as many games as we can.
Charlotte Bobcats probably won't let to win for Magic in the next game.

Congratulations on both the win and on the milestone, keep up the good work. That Kobe dunk looks awesome, by the way.

I appreciate the shoutout and way to celebrate your 1000th post with a win over the Lakers. :)

I personally think that you should go to the milestone thread and announce it there instead of celebrating it in the dynasty section.

Oh you did a lot of stuff in a short time, my inet was broke, but now I read it. Some great wins (especially the one where Daniels did the end alone), but also some losses, but vs good teams like the Pistons.

Well this dynasty reached 19 sites because your presentation is awesome and you are doing an almost perfect dynasty (No dynasty is perfect ;) ).

So keep it on !!!
