Don't see Clippers matching Nuggets' offer for Maggette

I think he got a bit overpaid. 7 million per year is quite a lot.

Also, what position will he play? Small forward? Not likely with Carmelo around. Shooting guard, for sure...

Good move by the Nuggets. (Y) I hoped that the Bulls might get Maggette though. (N)

The Nuggets are going to look good if they can sign Andre Miller as well.

Chad Ford lying yet again...first he lied about Jordan buying the Bucks...now he's lying about Maggette signing with Denver...can we even trust anything he says anymore?

and the Spurs had "no-one" but Duncan last year...and it didn't seem to bother them...

Why is Arenas asking for so much money? I mean, teams can just use that cash to get a better player rather than him.

There goes the Bulls perimeter defense again. Not that we had any before there was a chance that he might have come. Ah well. Come on Pip.

Do the Bulls have any kinda defense? It's not like Eddy Curry is a shot-blocking machine too...

As I said before...Chad Ford is a liar...and Corey Maggette never signed an offer sheet with Denver...and here is more proof...
The Jazz have convinced a free-agent guard from the Clippers to sign with Utah. Just not the one everybody expected.
Corey Maggette, a four-year veteran who averaged 16.8 points in 64 games for L.A. last season, has informed the Jazz he will sign an offer sheet with Utah on Wednesday, several NBA sources confirmed Sunday. Maggette's decision comes one day after his backcourt mate with the Clippers, Andre Miller, chose Denver over Utah.
Maggette's signature on a contract Wednesday, the first day free agents are allowed to switch teams, does not ensure he will ever wear a Jazz uniform, however. The 6-foot-6 Chicago native is a restricted free agent, meaning the Clippers have 15 days to match the offer.

i really hoped to see corey playing in denver but i think he wants to be "the best player in his team"...in denver he would not be it...all the hype will go to Melo...probably denver will sign kandiman now!

and by the way this is my 300th post!

What?? Denver is slowly becoming the... Clippers??

Andre Miller, Corey Maggette, KandiMan...
Maybe they can lure Piatkowski with a multiyear contract too.

Denver won't land Maggette, he's committed to signing an offer sheet with the Jazz. He'll either be going to Utah or remaining a Clipper (assuming they match the offer).

Oh...about Pike...Clippers haven't offered him anything...Cavaliers are supposed to have made an offer today...
