Yeah, that's true. He did miss the layup and then his opponent accidentally passed the ball to him and he scored off it. I think that was an okay game for LeBron, nothing special though. He's still developing through the NBA atmosphere and it could take a while.

ya but this is the summer league, he wasn't going against the best players in the league, like it was the magic right? he wasn't going against t-mac, t-mac wasn't even playing, well see how he does in the real season against acually good players, not just rookies, and other nobodies. but even so, he had a pretty good game

well he made a good start to his pro career but i have to agree with kobes_4real on this one, it was only against rookies so il wait till the start of the season to judge him, but il give it to him he really filled up the stat sheet.

no he wasnt nerveous...it wasnt a televised game and even if it would have been televised then he would not be nerveous because his st. vincent st. mary games were televised too...

A couple of nice outings for James, but if he can maintain this standard over 82 games against tougher opponents it will be much more impressive.

No big deal, its all a learning process, he aint gonna turn the cavs into playoff contenders, thinking thats just plain stupid(not to your offence amare ), for now he will be solid, i think thats enough, its better than the numbers of t-mac and kobe when they first arived, he showed an all round game with potential, but his ass is gonna be kicked a lot of times this season by lots of (and they dont have to be allstars)players i believe, but heck, he'll be okay

I don't think James is really anymore special than Kobe as a rookie, just he's gonna get more playtime, and Kobe was faster, but James seems to have more strength and court vision than Kobe had when 18.

I hate to be pedantic, but Kobe's season high in his rookie season was 24. He did post 30 points in the rookie game at the 1997 All-Star Weekend.

oh sorry, just saw a documentary on it and remember Del Harris saying thats it's scary when a 18 year old posts 30 two games in a row, maybe that was his 2cd year before he turned 19 or something.

ya, he is a ball hog, but so his ever other player at his caliber. i just was saying that you know, Kobe would have been able to have a good rookie season if more minutes were allowed. But ya, totally agree James has more a pass mentality, but does he? cause he put 11 shots in 23 minutes. imagine if they played him longer, maybe he would have shot more, but yes, at this age James is more a passer than Kobe or any highschooler was.
I think James will turn out okay, not 29 ppg, but maybe 23 or 24, and like 6 or 7 rpg, and 8 or 9 apg ----> when developed in 4 or 5 years.
