Hes not a good player, but nonetheless the Mavs lose a big man.

Your thoughts?

Well if its against the rules then he deserves it.
This means even more presure on Dirk.

Mbenga! I always make fun of him for some reason but its not really a big deal. Dallas rarely used him anyways and he wasnt really too valuable to winning any games. Plus they still got Dampier and Diop and that enough to beat the suns in my opinion.

He is all about the blocking.
I like his game when he was playing in Summer League.
In a game he had five blocks in 15 min vs. the Knicks.

Oh damn, the Mavs might as well give up now...

Those NBA wives.....Kendra Davis and now Mrs. Avery Johnson?

Anyone think the NBA is overreacting to such things since the Artest incident? I mean it was unfortunate, but just going to someone's aid without any fighting involved?

Fri Jun 02, 2006 10:20 am

it sounds to me like the wife was the one who started all this mess. got mad at people for standing up and cheering? its a sporting event, thats what people do. not sure if the reports of her hitting someone is true or not but if she did they shoulda kicked her out of the game.

6 games is a tad too harsh for Mr. Mbenga. Still, I think players should competely detach themselves from personal life because NBA games are far more important

Stupid rules.

go DJ! go DJ!

NBA vice president Stu Jackson said Mbenga actually got a reduction from the 10-game suspension the league considers a baseline for this offense.

ok please add this to the long list of reasons to fire STu Jackson.

The precedent justifies a suspension but the fact he basically did the same thing as Antonio Davis yet the length of the suspension is different supports the theory that punishments are determined completely randomly, perhaps using a dart board or magic 8 ball.

it's not like this suspension will cost the Mavs any wins.
