Which Series Will Go The Distance?

Postby Matt on Wed May 03, 2006 9:34 pm

Lakers 3 - Suns 2
Spurs 3 - Kings 2
Heat 3 - Bulls 2
Nets 3 - Pacers 2
Cavs 2 - Was 2

4 teams can advance in their next game, but will they be pushed to a 7th game. I think Lakers, Spurs & Nets will close it out in game 6, and Bulls will push for a 7th. The Cavs - Wiz series will be 3-2 in someones advantage after tomorrow, but either way i say it goes to Wiz in 7.

I'd like to see Kings beat Spurs though and force a 7th game but the Spurs are pretty good at closing out a series.

Nets, Heat and Wizards. I wouldnt be shocked to see chicago win game 7, and same with the Cavs. I'm almost certain the nets would take game 7 at home, they have no answer for vince.

I see Cavs/Wizards, Nets/Pacers and Spurs/Kings going to game 7.
I got a good feeling that the Kings will get to 7 coz the Spurs havent been playing that great....but I dunno.
I also have a feeling that the Cavs will lose to Wizards in 7, but if they lose tommorow, I think it will only go to 6.

With Game 6 in Chicago, I think the Heat/Bulls series has a very good chance of going the distance, where the Bulls should have a chance of winning despite being on the road for a Game 7. As is my custom I'm going to avoid getting Homerish but I believe they have more than just a shred of hope.

Suns/Lakers...I think it's going to seven. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers close out in Game 6 and a successful comeback from 3-1 is a huge ask for a Suns team that hasn't looked as good as expected but I'll predict it goes to seven. I'm already out on my original prediction anyway, even if the Suns do prevail.

I don't think the Spurs will let another one slip by, they're closing out in six, they're a Tony Parker blunder away from having taken the series 4-1 with today's win. Games 7s for Nets/Pacers and Cavaliers/Wizards.

If the Suns can pull one out in Staples Center, I think they'll win the last one at home. Last night's win was pretty convincing that the Suns made the adjustment they needed to get the offense going.

I agree, I think that if the Suns can get it going early in game 6, they can can win the game and close it out at home in Arizona. I think this year's opening round of the playoffs has been one of the best in recent memory, with lots of even series. I love the physical play we have seen, and there are storylines galore. I Love The NBA. Its Faaaaaaantastic!

Nets and Pacers, Wizards and Cavs will probably go into game 7. LAL vs PHO, after the suspencion of Raja, Kobe will get much more points and will win in 6.

I think that the Cavs and Wiz will go to game 7. The Cavs will end up winning though after Lebron's 40 point, 10 rebound, 6 assist game.

I wouldn't be so certain. Lebron played great, and the cavs had one good run with him on the bench, but washington has alot more options in terms of scoring which could be critical to win a 7th game. look at how cleveland struggled once lebron was double teamed as soon as he put the ball on the floor.

I'm sticking with my wizards in 7 pick.

Bulls played well for the series, but it was inevitable that they wouldn't shoot so well from 3 for the entire series.

Spurs might close it out tomorrow against the Kings. They seem to be able to play well when it counts the most. The Cavs and Wizards match-up is harder to predict.

I won't count out the Kings yet though.
