To everyone saying that Walton didn't foul Nash on that last play, if you compare it to the kind of fouls that were being called that game on Marion and Odom then you have to call it. It was about stayuing consistent.
Mon May 01, 2006 2:20 pm
yeah, marion gets 3 fouls in 2 minutes, what the hell was that?
Mon May 01, 2006 2:22 pm
Complaining about the officiating isn't going to change the fact that the series is in favor of the Lakers 3-1.
Mon May 01, 2006 2:24 pm
well obviously. this league needs new refs who aren't like 80 years old and can't see 5 feet in front of them. btw, Jae your pic doesn't work

And this forum needs new members who aren't like 10 years old and don't make stupid posts.

now it's working jae.......

What the hell is complaining going to do for us? Sure, some of the fouls were questionable but get over it. New game.
Mon May 01, 2006 3:15 pm
New Game indeed.
Back to Phoenix?
Time to shoot the lights out
Kwame Brown will slack off in game 5 i think which will be enough for the suns to win
Mon May 01, 2006 8:24 pm
It may have been a bad call but it should have not reach to the point where you're mvp cost you the game. Sure the refs suck bad but the suns put themselves into it. I agree its a new game and the suns lost that 3 straight on close games. Have a little faith.

I've seen it spelled with and without the hyphen, on that occasion I went with the latter. Either way, my opinion of those calls remains the same.

Great win for the Suns. Let's have a collective moment of prayer for Raja's game 6 future.
Wed May 03, 2006 4:25 pm
Wow, he almost killed Kobe. That's a one game suspension for sure. In the neck and then pushing him to the grounds? Oh yeah.
Edit: link to the video of Raja's homicide attempt -

Calm Down LMAO
Huge win tonight we finally looked fluid out there on the offensive end, To bad about Raja's incident

Yep, this game was great. I wasn't planning on watching it, but I was still up, and tuned in to see the Suns up by 10...
Best part is the way they won, with offense... hopefully Diaw continues to punish Smush Parker in the paint.

Colin, I gotta say, you were right about double-teaming Kobe (and Odom). On many occasions they would throw away the ball when they were trapped, leading to a fast break.
I was sooooooooooooo pumped when Diaw threw down that dunk on the break on the pass from Marion. I couldn't hold it in, and I think the whole street heard me.
Biggest challenge of the year coming up for Phoenix. I'm really unsure of how the Suns will keep Kobe in check (under 50 LOL) without Raja in there. Lakers fans can say what they want, but Kobe was not at his best yesterday, even when he was trying to get his. I believe Raja had something to do with that.
Hope Diaw and especially Marion can keep it up...going to need some contribution from Barbosa and House, though.
Thu May 04, 2006 9:44 am
Yeah man, people need to make their shots in this next game. G;ad to see Marion back on track, but some more contribution from Barbosa and House is definitely needed. If House can come in and knock down a couple threes and maintain the lead while Nash sits they should be fine.
And when they finally start doing the things I've been hoping they would do I've been so pumped. When they finally started rebounding and hitting the offensive glass in game 4 I was thrilled.

I won't hold my breath. I can almost guarantee that somebody will be off tomorrow. Diaw, Marion, whoever, we'll screw something up. I'm pessimistic on the internet, optimistic IRL.

I don't think Kobe will go for 50 without seriously detracting from other performers... and with the Suns being so weak on the interior, it would be much more efficient for them to continue with the way they've been playing.... hopefully Kobe goes back to his old ways in the next one.
Thu May 04, 2006 11:02 am
Kobe is just playing so differently to the reg season, you dont know what he's gonna do now-pass, shoot, drive then pass it out.
Know wonder Bell hit him
Thu May 04, 2006 11:27 am
mmk... uh.. you DO know this is the suns thread, and not the lakers one, right guys? that's the one with 15 pages more than this one... Suns just need to try and block the home crowd out and move the ball fluently. No turnovers.
Thu May 04, 2006 11:37 am
wasn't Greg Anthony the one who said lakers will win this in 6?? mm looking very possible
