Pistons V Bucks

Postby Matt on Sun Apr 23, 2006 4:02 pm

Every series needs it own page instead of new threads popping up everyday.

Series Prediction: Pistons 4-0.

In the last 5 yrs or so i've never predicted Pistons sweeping in the 1st rnd however this year is totally different. Coming off an amazing regular season the real thing starts now, and Pistons should be focused and dispose of the Bucks in 4. There will probably be tough games but at best Bucks will only win 1.

I predict Pistons in 5, Bucks will steal a game at home but other than that, this series won't cause Detroit much trouble at all

The Bucks have given Detroit alot of trouble in every game of the regular season, opening up massive leads early. They tend to self destruct though... I won't be shocked if they steal a game or two, but there's no way they can beat them in a series.

yeah the games have been close, except the last one. Bucks even had a game where they started 17-0 or something like that and still lost. They'll need to find a way to score when Redd is on the bench.

I imagine Pistons will use an 8 man rotation, with Hunter, Delk & Dice off the bench, and maybe a 4th person (Evans) for spot minutes.

yea, i agree Redd's been giving the pistons some trouble, but if they can guard the perimeter they should be fine.

I've already predicted the Bucks will take one and I stand by that. I really can't see them going further than that, pushing Detroit to the brink or getting the upset.

I think it's a good time to mention that Detroit set an NBA low for TO's in a season....thank you Mr. Billups for leading the way!

The Bucks set the all-time record for lowest number of TO's in a game :P

I'm pretty sure Pistons had a game of just 4 TO's this season, so Bucks must have gotten 3 then.

I say pistons in 4, kukoc is hurt so he wont play in the first game. Bucks may be able to pull one out at home if their players can catch on fire. If Jamaal Magloire plays like he used to, and Redd lights up they have a chance.

It's impossible to beat the Pistons 4 times in 7 games.

This season, no team can do it in the East.

Pistons won by 20, the Bucks got within 4 in the fourth quarter but yet again self destructed.

Flip should use Delfino to play on Redd if Hamilton is out. I will always remember when we played Nets, and Delfino played on Carter. NJ kept trying to iso Carter on Delfino, and Delfino played awesome defence on him, forcing Carter into something like 5 missed shots in a row.

Since then, Carlos has been a great defender in my mind

Most people see him as a good defender... well, except the coach it seems.

i think he's a very good defender. He doesn't buy on fakes and he stick with his man, i don't know why Flip won't play him. He did an excellent job on Kobe & T-Mac in the times he got to guard them, but Evans got abused so bad it made me cringe.

Anyways, Hamiltons ankle "injury" didnt look bad, he was barely moving at the time.
