Those are the 5 players that most people made a case for when eariler in the week they had that feature on the front page to 'make a case for...' any player for any of the awards.

I think Diaw will the MIP award this year. Mike James is such a ball hog. Gerald Wallce has missed so many games coz of injuries. Mehmet Okur has not improved so much compared to Boris Diaw. Same as David West.

Delonte West, who isn't even in the poll, is who I'm voting for. He's also a candidate on nba.com

He deserves it. His good play has only been overshadowed by the 3 stars in the team.

He (Krstic) doesn't deserve it, he's only a sophomore. David West should get it, he actually improved his skills, while Diaw is just playing in a tailor-made system.

Well David West also is getting more of an opprtunity, it's not like he was unskilled last year, he just didn't get minutes.

Diaw has improved, not relating to the system. According to some Hawks fans, he's showing consistency and effort he didn't show in ATL, or more of wasn't allowed to show. His skills obviously were always there, if you saw him play before, you'd know. He has improved his jumpshot though, that was visible in the Euro champs.

Last year he was injured. His performance leap from his rookie year wasn't that big.

Diaw went from a player who played quite a bit and sucked, to a player who plays a ton and is good. Kevin Martin is his only real competition methinks.

Diaw, Hands down.
When they got him for Joe Johnson, everyone thought nothing of him. Now hes a tripple double threat.
Some may say, "Oh but Nash made him better." One flaw to this argument, todays game vs Golden State with Nash out. 11pts, 16asts, 11rebs, 3blks, 2 stls. He is for real.

It's between Diaw and West, if I had to vote I'd give it to Diaw.

Both of them have owned on fantasy team. (Y)

Yeah, we're definitely going to lose sleep over this...

Either way, even if he wins most improved, I won't be too bothered by it since it'll be the first time a Toronto Raptor gets recognition in that department.

Although Mike James is still a douchebag.

diaw imo. From a scrub with the hawks to a blooming star with the suns, can't get any better. I know he is looking forward to payday ( aka a nice thick contract)

That's just cold.

You have no idea how frustrating it is to watch this clown on a daily basis. Thank God there are only 2 more games left in his Raptor career.
