cheats are your best friend. Learning to fly a plane properly in this game is a fucking bitch. I spent hours and hours of sweating and giving up..and going back to finally past the tests.

Some of the cheats adversely affect the game though, preventing you from getting 100% completion and in apparently in some cases preventing certain missions from spawning.

Im a hardcore cheater when it comes to GTA. I mainly use the Health+Armour+250,000 cheat and the cop wanted level down cheat(when I decide to kill peds)

The weapon cheats are hard to remember so i just press spacebar heaps at Ammunation as I have like 40mil

I'm still in San Fierro, i'll be playing GTASA when I'm done posting :P

I've never managed 100% completion on any of them. My cousin did it with Vice City though, scoring the excellent "I completed Vice City and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt" t-shirt as a change of clothes at his hideouts.

Grrr fucken stupid helicopter shit cunt :x

I'm up to that Torreno mission where you have to go to the top of the mountain and collect the package and missile down the helicopters. Everytime I get close to hitting a helicopter, the package helicopter gets in the way and i shoot it down :x so gr and I keep forgetting to save at Torreno's house and i have to start from the garage and drive back there so now I drove to Torreno's and saved and exited in disgust. :x

I sucks.

I'm bringing this one back from the depths.

I ended up getting Liberty City Stories for the PS2 and I have to say, I'm really enjoying it so far. Sure, it's missing a few of the new additions from San Andreas but it plays like an enhanced version of GTA3 which isn't shabby at all. They've done a good job with the stories and the missions are pretty fun, though they seem a little easier than the other recent GTA titles.

I'm up to the second mission in Shoreside Vale so I'm a fair way along in the story. I've got less than 40% completion though since I haven't really done any of the side missions or collected any of the hidden packages yet.

I can't wait until GTA4 comes out. :)

I heard that Liberty City Stories is pretty crap on PS2 mainly because of all of the missing features. :?

I guess it's a matter of opinion. Even though they're cool features, I don't really miss the ability to workout/eat/get haircuts so their absence doesn't bother me.

its good because, unlike liberty city stories that used the GTA3 map as a base, VCS will be made completely from scratch!

I wasn't too disappointed they used the same map as GTA3; quite the opposite in fact, since I got to know that map quite well. ;)

yeh that was a great improvement (Y)

@ Andrew, i know what you are sayin and for GTA3 i think that was a good thing, but the vice city map was pretty ordinary, so a fresh one might just be the way to go

Actually that is something I miss in LCS but on the other hand I'm used to avoiding water throughout the series so it's not so bad. I expect all these features will be back in GTA4 but the PSP versions/ports won't include them.

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of that map either. I guess it won't matter to me since VCS looks like being a PSP-only release at this point.

Given how impressed I am with LCS and how much I've enjoyed it so far I'd probably get VCS too if comes out on PS2, but the official site suggests it's only going to be released on PSP.
