I believe Matt told us that he got dunked on by Bogut when he was in High School.

I met Pat Reidy back in 1998 or 1999 when a couple of the Falcons made an appearance at a Rebel Sport store. :headbang: But that might not count.

I guess I'm the only loser here

The closest I ever came to meeting VC was at a night club, where he was in, and where I got kick out after they found out that my ID was fake

That's my claim to basketball fame anyway.

My cricket coach played basketball against Bogut (Y) (and I play against Bogut's cousin) :D

I was playing for the Dandenong Rangers while Bogut was there. However, he is a couple of years younger than me, so, never played on the same team.

Bogut played for the same Domestic team as me :?

In case you dont know what Domestic is, its like the bottom level competition of Bball here in Australia. Anyway, I know the guy who coached him and he said that Bogut was the laziest bitch ever, and just jacked 3s all the time.
Go figure.

I also know a guy who went to the US for some Bball tournament. He dunked a rim and broke it off. Because of this, him and his team didnt get to play some team that LeBron was on before he was in the NBA.

The Sengstock twins go to my HS... and their sister is in the grade below me. Maybe some of the Aussies know that there is a Larry Sengstock medal in the NBL... thats the guy.

And if some guys remember Simon Kearle? His dad goes out with the mom of a friend of a friend of mine.

And I gotta say I met Bryant Matthews! (Y)(Y)(Y)

^^ Anyways, enough of my random ramblings, continue...

Paul Pierce once went to our univ. I was wondering what the fuss was all about because there was a lot of people, when I turned around Paul Pierce was right in front of me. Made me want to stab him again.
I was surprised, I thought he would be much taller.

I know MJ visited my former HS. And I know another former NBA player attended that same HS. I think he is one of the Bulls announceers.

5'7", but I was expecting Pierce to be so tall that I would have to look up and over extend my neck just to see his face. Guess not.

He's actually 6'5" I believe. 6'5" isn't tall if your near 6 feet, but I'm 5'7" so I was hoping he would be tall as I'd expected.

hm
thats very cool, right down the street from kobe, man you should try to somehow catch him and get his autograph.

lets see, cool basketball accomplishments...

-In 10th grade during our USA South Tour, my school's wind ensemble played a concert at Kobe's high school, Lower Merion HS.
-I got recruited by Elms College, a D-III, but I never played high school ball and was going to be playing Ultimate for UMASS, so I just trashed the letter. Plus I hated the town Elms was in, so that's another reason.

Vince Carter's not very tall. I was almost his height when I saw him in Darling Harbour during the 2000 Olympics and I was like 6'2 at the time. Antawn Jamison said on the dunks DVD that he's no more than 6'4, so that'd explain that. Kevin Garnett is a monster though.

An old roommate of my sister was this huge 6'7'' Latvian guy in his mid 20's. He has a younger brother that is a really good basketball player in Latvia, and he was on the same team and is good friends with Andreas Beidreans, the one who's on golden state. In June i was staying with my sister for a while and it was draft day and i asked if i could change it from what he was watching to the draft, he said sure and told me this story about how he was all excited last year when his good friend got drafted.
