i watch the highlight on 2005 slam dunk comp...but till now i dunno why.........
what so different about 'dominique' dunk...my first impression wen i saw that was 'how can that windmill get a 50'...

Moving to NBA Talk.

Perhaps it seems tame now (I personally still think it's impressive), but I don't think many people have been able to throw down an windmill quite like Dominique Wilkins. The combination of his elevation, the power as well as a certain finesse to it, the extension...it's been used so much it's not necessarily a 50 these days but back in the day it was a 50, no question.

Andrew's right. The windmill has been done so many times by now, it's just a bit boring. Back then, it was spectacular. And Nique gave a special something to the dunk. There are still few who can windmill like he did.

Windmills are my personal favourite. Nothing caps off a fast break better than cocking that damn thing in the largest circle you can make and then hammering it down the hardest you can.


I still have vivid images of Vince doing those in the good old Raptor days...
