The Hills Have Eyes is a strange one. I've heard it being so freaking scary, and another review says it's just a typical horror movie. If it's nothing like the House of Wax and closer to the Dawn of the Dead remake, I'll check it out.

I swear to god, Eyes Wide shut is the weirdest fucking movie i've ever seen. Who would've thought the circle of black coated people were topless chicks in thongs.

Sun Mar 26, 2006 7:50 am

The circle of black coated people weren'ttipless chicks in thongs. In matter of act, aren't you a little bit too young to watch that kind of movies? Do your folks know about this? I'm gonna send them a letter, you'll see, you underage pervert.

In Good Company. A very, very warm movie. Scarlett Johansson at her finest  (watch Lost In Translation!).

I was watching the Commonwealth Games and then that movie was on straight after :? They didnt show the "mad hot sex" scene nicole and tom have.

Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:08 am

I did not have sex with that woman.

Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:12 am

As much as i like pr0n, i never want to watch that movie again. Way too weird, flashbacks of his wife getting analed

i'm surprised not a lot of people have seen this movie. i loved it. i thought topher grace and dennis quaid were absolutely hilarious in this movie; great chemistry on screen too. the ending wasn't what i expected, but it definitely worked

I just watched "Get Rich Or Die Tryen". It was no where near a Bad Movie like all of the 50 Cent haters made it out to be.

It reminded me alot of my life and diffrent things that have happened to me in the past. So I really enjoyed it. I was able to watch it twice in two weeks because I enjoyed the sound track during the movie and all of the rapping during the movie.

Yeah... we don't allow people advertising illegal downloads here, so don't. Go bust some caps or whatever it is you and 50 do.

I did not have sex with that woman.

You keep day dreaming.

Just came back from The Inside Man, as good as Washington is, that movie belongs to Clive Owen. I'd never imagined he'd pull off a role like that, major props.

One of my all time favorites for sure, in the same category as Reservoir Dogs & The Usual Suspects for me. Highly recomended.

watching it in half an hour jackal, i'll let you know what i think of it :D

Me too, i just got back from it then. A good, good movie. (Y)

just watched it too.. fucking awesome.
it was so clever, i loved how the opening scene made so much sense in the end.
and i agree, clive owen stole the show in this movie, but denzel was right up there with his quips.

" i'm going to be with 6 girls, two named amber and <insert name here>, sucking on a pina colada......"

" no no no you're going to be bent over infront of two guys named jamal and jesus, and you definitely wont be sucking on a pina coladaaaaaaa "

classic

on a sidenote, this movie caused me to get cockblocked. i am angry.

Sun Mar 26, 2006 10:01 pm

two named amber and <insert name here>,

Tifanny.

Washington was indeed great, this was a funny ass movie. Washington & Owen's interactions/body language was just hilarious.

But in the end, you can't have the feeling that Owen well...let's not spoil the fun.

Edit: Btw, anyone like the song at the beginning and end of the movie? Who said indian music was that bad? It's from quite a well known indian movie. :)

Tue Mar 28, 2006 8:16 am

I saw Jarhead this weekend. I must say I honestly enjoyed it . No fighting and all , but I enjoyed the movie . It was sad how his girlfriend did wind up leaving him though.
And the scene where the dudes wife sends him a video of her having sex with her neighbor. OUCH. Anyways, my favorite part.

"Give me 25 pushups for everytime your girlfriend fucks another man this month".

That was just classic.

And the scene where Jamie Foxx is screaming at the idiot who lifted his head while they were training . That was hilarious. (Y)

that was a pretty bold choice for the opening scene, but i loved it. it worked perfectly. it's hard to explain. at first i was scratching my head, like wtf are they playing -- but it played really well with the images of the bank, city life etc. there were lots of people cracking up though

Tue Mar 28, 2006 9:09 am

saw Inside Man. enjoyed it too.

i was a little disappointed with the role Dafoe was cast as. Dafoe is great as playing guys who you're not too sure you can trust or very intelligent, clever types. i thought he was misused as some bumbling tactician

lol wtf was Jodie Foster's job title/company. i don't think she stopped smiling throughout the entire movie... that magnificent cunt

anyway, I don't know exactly how much Spike Lee was invovled with this production but i'll chalk it up as another great Spike Lee movie

Tue Mar 28, 2006 9:57 am

was a little disappointed with the role Dafoe was cast as.

Same here, I kept thinking he was an insider throughout the whole movie.

I don't know exactly how much Spike Lee was invovled with this production

He directed the entire thing.

I'm so confused about the hills have eyes . I hear its scary , then I hear it bloody , then I hear its nasty . I'm watching it this weekend hope I enjoy .

thanks for clarifying that. in most of his "joints", Spike Lee is directing, writing, and producing. i remember reading in some review that he was involved but didn't have most of the control of the movie as he usually does

i guess i could have paid attention to the opening credits but i was too busy jamming to the music lol

Wed Mar 29, 2006 9:54 am

I missed the opening credits, was too late. I just saw he directed it on IMDB, but it was also being advertised as Spike Lee's greatest full fledged commercial film over here.

Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:28 am

ha and you said you don't visit that site

Wed Mar 29, 2006 11:47 am

hey fellas (gordon, jackal)

don't read further if you don't want to be spoiled, and if you haven't seen the movie yet:

but how did clive owen's henchmen escape? did they just drop to the ground like everyone else?

Wed Mar 29, 2006 2:57 pm

yes. they showed the 2 guys on the ground and also all 3 of them on the bus IIRC

Wed Mar 29, 2006 3:50 pm

at first i didn't get how denzel and his buddy were interviewing all the people in one scene, but then in the next scene it shows that they were still held hostage.

i get it now though, pretty clever. and one of those henchmen (woman) had an enormous rack.
