Who is the better dunker the 5'7" Webb or 5'9" Nate?
Mon Feb 20, 2006 4:44 am
nate is better.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 5:05 am
Nate.
I liked his array of dunks a lot better than I did Spudd's.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 5:09 am
nate is really 5'7 i think he is better
Mon Feb 20, 2006 5:46 am
Yeah when you saw them on TV standing next to each other they were the same height, so Nate wins because I don't think Spud can do a between-the-legs nor jump over someone his own size.
But Spud's still a legend.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 5:59 am
SPUD, cus he is shorter.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 6:19 am
Spud, he da man
Mon Feb 20, 2006 6:52 am
nate he's nice but spud hes original
Mon Feb 20, 2006 6:53 am
Nate for sure, he has more Flava than Spud, but the thing that is the giveaway, is that hes only a rookie and we will see a lot more.

In the dunk contest Spud appeared an inch shorter. But if we are talking about dunking here - Nate. But I still hate that midget (yes, I love that word). I hope his ego will grow till infinity+1 and he'll simply explode.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 7:11 am
Spud revolusionised dunking. Before he came along, no one really thought anyone under 6 foot could dunk. This comparison is like Dr J to Desmond Mason. It has to be Spud
Mon Feb 20, 2006 7:25 am
Its hard to tell right now. That was Nates first time in the dunk Contest...Didnt Spud go to it a few times?
Its kind of hard to say too because youve already seen alot of the dunks. But jumping OVER Spud was pretty crazy. Id probally just say Nate though.
Mon Feb 20, 2006 9:20 am
i say spud was better
nate is a good dunker for his height but it didnt take him 13 tries to complete 1 dunk

um what array? nevermind it took almost an infiinite amount of times to complete?
Spudd's "repertoire of dunks included the elevator two-handed double pump dunk, the one-handed off the backboard 1 handed jam, a 360 degree helicopter 1-handed dunk, a 180 degree reverse double-pump slam, and his final masterpiece, the 180 degree reverse two-handed jam from a lob bounce off the floor"

I'm with Matthew and AG on this one. Also, anyone who can beat Dominique Wilkins in a dunk contest is a true Sultan of Slam.
(Yes, even I cringed when I typed that)
Mon Feb 20, 2006 10:53 am
also anyone who can dunk at 4'11"
Mon Feb 20, 2006 12:05 pm
spud is a cooler name so i gotta say spud

good conclusion........

Nate definately. He has better hops than spud. I know Spud couldn't take it between his legs and dunk, heck, I doubt he could do a windmill. Iguodala and Dominique make a decent comparison as far as dunk contests go. I mean, a between the legs reverse compared to a windmill or whatever Nique did(i can't remember.). I know the windmill was amazing then, it probably compares to our between the legs dunk these days.

ok so
iguodala = wilkins
robinson > iguodala, therefore:
robinson > wilkins
wilkins should have beaten Jordan in '88
therefore:
robinson = best dunker...ever
