Good Australian hip hop

Postby Nick on Tue Nov 19, 2002 7:49 pm

Who here can reccomend a good aussie hip hop band/song? I'm making the music section for the 'NBL patch' for NBA Live 2003 and David and i are thinking "Aussie hip hop" as the main music theme...but i can't think of any songs....i've heard some good hip hop/turntablist songs when i watch 'RAGE' but i can't remember the names...

Please make some suggestions...

Not really hiphop, but isn't that guy from 'how bizarre' Australian? I think his name is OMC. I got his ceedee, on the run is a pretty good track, old, but still good.

what about those Aussie dudes, well some are Aussie, who have that "karma" song? They're called "100 techniques" or something, can't be sure. I know the song has the word Karma in it, and the group's name has techniques in it... :)

Personally, I think Slim Dusty should drop the Country style and rap. Just think of the titles: The Real Slim Dusty, Say Goodbye Tenterfield...

Sorry guys, it's almost midnight here in Newcastle. I shouldn't attempt humour at this hour.

Soul of the Beat, by Hilltop Hoods - That's some good quality hip hop right there...i reccomend that...

Fatter, by Pegasus - It's okay...good lyircs...will be a perfect theme song in the menu of Live 03...

Who else is there?
