Bucks Involved in Another Multi-Team Trade
Last time it was Phoenix and Atlanta, now Milwaukee is once again involved in a multi-team trade, this time with four teams.
Milwaukee sent Reece Gains to Dallas, who in turn sent Pavel Podkolzin to Detroit for Jason Maxiel. Maxiel went to New Jersey for Hendrik Rock (picked in the second round, 48th pick overall of the previous draft). Hendrick Rock went to Milwaukee.
Milwaukee
Sends: Reece Gains
Recieves: Hendrick Rock
The Bucks, looking to go in a more defensive direction this season, get a 6'9" swingman who is a good stealer, and can dunk through the roof. His speed is questionable, however.
Dallas
Sends: Pavel Podkolzin
Recieves: Reece Gaines
Giving up their huge 7'5" center they recieve a SG who has potential to become a solid player in the NBA.
Detroit
Sends:Jason Maxiell
Recieves: Pavel Podkolzin
After losing Ben Wallace to the free agent pool, Detroit had to fill their C postion madly. Pavel will not do it by himself, but will help out.
New Jersey
Sends: Hendrick Rock
Recieves: Jason Maxiell
Lacking at the PF position, NJ was looking to get a young player who had the heart to become a strong player. Whilst Jason is well undersized for his position (only 6'7") he is extremely strong and has a love for the game.
