I think its because Lebron is afraid of losing the dunk contest. If he loses it's going to taint his repuatation. Nocioni , he may have his own reasons , you don't know.

There is alot of 3pt shooters that didn't make it , so don't be sad . Mike Redd deserves it more then Q , but then again Q is there to defend his crown.

I would have loved to see Peja in it, kinda sad he isnt. Yes he is having a bad season shooting but that means nothing when it comes to the 3pt shootout. He isnt being guarded by anybody is he? If I was betting on anyone to make an open shot, I would bet on Peja.

Thereisnt really anyone I would put my money on to win this one, everybody is so-so. I hope Dirk wins just because...

Nocioni said himself that he isn't All-Star material, and was tentative even just playing in the Rookie Challenge. He declined the 3 Point Shootout since he says that his shot takes a long time to set up. He's got a lot of motion and steadying involved with his shot. Because of this, he doesn't think he can shoot well under pressure like that.
