What was better, Kobes 81pts, or TMacs 13pts in 35?

i don't see any comparison.....T-Mac was HOT for 35 secs, he did nothing else during the game but for that. Kobe had it going ALL GAME LONG.

i dont see the reason why people compare major achievements, there both amazing and spectacular in there own right, its comparing two completely different scenarios. its like comparing the best dunk to the best assist.

why cant people appreciate both achievements for the beauty they both were. both were absoloutley spectacular but i think kobes 81 points will stay in the minds of many longer than t-macs accomplishement.

but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Its not right to compare the two. Both of them made something special in their careers and layoff it. Kobe is better than tmac. End it.

I don't know why but I still think MJ's performance in 1990 pwns Kobe's and T-Mac's.
I mean come on: 69 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, remember?
MJ was able to score A LOT of points and still be able to dish 6 assists and play really good D (notice the 18 rebounds and I think he got like 3 steals but I'm not sure).

T-Mac's 13 in 35 was certainly impressive, but I think it was a bit of luck. Kobe, on the other hand, just completely rocked the Raptors by himself throughout the entire game.

I wouldnt say luck. TMac was pouting them in. Maybe the 3 and 1 was luck but I dont think the rest was luck.

t-mac's 13 points in 35 sec is more amazing!!
basically, they just let kobe shoot, while ppl were double teaming t-mac on that day

Did you even see the game? It's not that they let Kobe get the open look. He just hit those fadeaway jumpers with a man right in his face. He is just that good, accept it.
I'm not a bandwagoner and I don't like Kobe too much myself, but a performance like this(as well as T-Mac's) has to be recognized. Noone could have possibly predicted what happened the other night. But right now, thanks to Kobe, Wilt's 100 are not as impossible as they were before.

i have to see their defence sux... they didnt even bother to double team. they gave up!!

kobe's 81 has to be better, for the standard of modern NBA 50+ is a great performance

Or MAYBE, there were written accounts of the game? lol. It goes like this. Wilt starts the game well, shoots a couple of shots in the first quater, and gets his rhythm on. He's doing really well at the free-throw line, and his shots keep going in on the Knicks. By halftime, many of Chamberlain's teammates see something special was in the air,(23 first quarter points, 18 second quarter points) so they just keep feeding him the ball. 2 quaters later, and a ton of shots later Wilt gets 100.

But wait, what the hell? You can't just score 100 points just like that! There is a thing called defence right? Well sadly, Wilt's 100 is a fluke. There wasn't 3 in the key back then. (Remember this rule is fairly new) The Knicks fell asleep near the last quater where Wilt scored the most, and Wilt threw up 63 shots. Give Jordan or Bird, or anyone that many shot in today's league and well, we might see some familiar memories.
