Mark Blount certainly isn't a savior, and he won't be expected to be one, but I think his game will fit in well with Garnett's. He can hit the open jumper and Garnett is one of the best passing big men in the game. Garnett is just going to have to dominate the boards even more.

Now that you mention it, and since you watch teh Wolves' home games, why is KG's rebounding down by approximately 1.5 - 2rpg this year? :?:

One thing that I don't understand, everyone is saying the Wolves should do KG a favour by trading him or they are saying KG should demand a trade & go get that ring, but isn't that the same attitude we've grown to hate in the recent years?

We dislike people that force trades (VC, T-Mac, Shaq) but at the same time we want KG to demand a trade.

We expect a guy to stick it out with one team like they did during the 90's, but then just shut that out & say he deserves a ring so he should go to a contender.

We should make up our minds. I find it very very admirable of KG to stick it out in Minny, ring or no ring. (Y)

Well, lately Garnett has been getting 15-16 rebounds a game. A lot of it had to do with new Head Coach Dwane Casey playing Garnett on the perimeter. He didn't want Garnett to get worn down so he had him play on the perimeter. Also, Garnett at the beginning of the year was a lot more relaxed on the boards. He wasn't his usual self. He didn't have the "see the ball, get the ball" mentality. Now, for whatever reason, he has that mentality and the team is benefiting because of that.

I will say this that amazes me about Garnett: He always guards the opponents best sf/pf (and somtimes sg). You see players like Duncan who dont guard the opponents best player to not get into foul trouble, but then you see KG wanting to be the guy to play great defense and help his team.

That is true, earlier this year Garnett guarded Duncan from start to finish (until he got his 5th foul on a bullshit Manu Ginobili flop). Garnett can guard a wide variety of players in the league. He has guarded the likes of Steve Nash, Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Corey Maggette, Shawn Marion, Elton Brand, Tim Duncan, Jermaine O'Neal, Shaquille O'Neal, ect. As you can see, he has guarded quite a few different positions in his time in Minnesota. Pretty remarkable for a 7 footer to do.

I still can't feel bad for him ,I mean he earns more than everyone on this board combined ,whether he's losing or not.

Lol, you really think Minnesotta would give that up in a second?

no i dont think mchale is that stupid... i think the problem with minny is that they need a better gm.... and the joe smith deal has probably set back minny a couple of years... stupid to waste draft picks for resigning a player who wasn't even that good and isn't on your team but minny doesn't seem to have a keen eye for scouting.... they and 10 other something odd teams didn't want danny granger... im not saying mccants is bad but minny could have used a guy like granger....

Mccants and Szczerbiak (plus a draf pick) for Paul Pierce and McHale would be the stupid one? I think Ainge would be raped in this case.

The Joe Smith deal was more on Glen Taylor than Kevin McHale, in my opinion. They knew it was illegal but everyone else was doing it. They tried to do it and they got caught and the NBA tried to make an example out of them. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I had a rant about how wrong that is, but I decided not to because I have a feeling you are some douchebag who doesn't think before he types. How does it feel to be bitter?

Let me put it this way: Do you think Garnett gives a damn about you? Yea? That's what I thought.

He doesn't give a damn about me because he doesn't know me. You said you can't feel sorry for anyone making more money than you. Which tells me you are bitter. If a friend of yours has more money than you and his mom dies you can't feel sorry for him? What is he going to do? Buy a new mom.

I feel bad for people who work hard to achieve something and for whatever reason they can't because it's out of their control. They don't have to care about me for me to care about them.

Example-
I love America and I want to defend America and Americans. I don't know every American and they don't know me. They probably don't give a damn about me. But that doesn't mean you can't feel sorry or you can't care about them. Sometimes you have to give to recieve.

Granted, maybe I just sound bitter because I'm tired of all these 'plz feel bad for X player,he's awesome but doesn't have a good team to help him' - threads.
