What is your favorite "posterized" dunk of all tim

Postby Dirtdog1- David on Sat May 24, 2003 3:12 pm

I would like to know: Is it Pippen over Ewing? Damn his nuts were all in Patrick's grill  Is it T-Mac over Okur? It looked like when he bumped off of him, he got even higher!

My Favorite has to be KJ over Hakeem, because he kinda waited for the Dream to get set, and then just yoked on him sideway's. He was like a foot shorter.

Whats your favorite posterized DUNK!
And does anyone know where you can download some of these dunks?

I'd have to say MJ over Ewing in the playoffs (1991 or 1992, I forget which). Though there's plenty of others I've enjoyed watching, I'm sure they'll come back to me, so there's a good chance I'll have a new favourite tomorrow.

Webber behind the back on Barkley.
I still havent figured out which charlotte hornet mj dunked on way back in the way (he was white and small but fuck it was nasty)

Oooh yeah, Grant Hill over Zo in 97. Vicious.

Pippen over Ewing deserves a mention. as does Mike over Kendall gill in the 98 playoffs after he stole the ball.

Pippen over travis best in the 98 eastern conference finals

Man so many..

Early 90s Hornets and white...possibilties include Rex Chapman, Kelly Tripucka and Tony Bennett.

MJ also had a nice dunk on Zo during the 1992/93 season...it features on most post 1993 highlight videos that include Michael Jordan clips. I also have the game it's from on tape from Pontel. :)

I don't remember it, but it would probably be Muggsy.

Just remembered another nice one - Joe Smith on Dikembe Mutombo back in the 1996/1997 season. I remember it one of the first half highlights on NBA Action at the All-Star break - Joe throwing it down with two hands over Deke, then waving his finger at him. :)

Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls) on Dikembe Mutombo (Atlanta Hawks) then waving the finger back at Mt. Mutombo, I think during the 96-97 season.

Ricky Davis over Steve Nash this season was pretty hardcore, though it might not receive recognition because after all it's Steve Nash.

Tracy McGrady on Mehmet Okur was a highlight reel.

Amare Stoudamire on Yao Ming twice, and one to Michael Olowokandi also deserves some recognition.

Finally, I must give some props to my boy Wally Szczerbiak against the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs last year when he nailed one on Raef LaFrentz.

Can anyone remember who Jordan dunked over in this story (Karl Malone tells the story, but Jordan didn't dunk over Malone)

Jordan dunks over John Stockton. A fan in the stands shouts to Jordan telling him to pick on someone his own size. Jordan goes down and dunks on Utah's center. Back down the court, he shouts at the fan, "Was he big enough for you?"

Ostertag? Or maybe Eaton? But I think I remember this story with Ostertag being dunked on.

I remember seeing the footage that accompanied the story. The player wore #54. As far as I know, Karl Malone has always worn #32, so I don't think it was him.
